Yes, I guess you could but I'm not sure if they will look aesthetically pleasing to your eyes. I use them on the inside of the AC closet door to dampen the sound. I just posted 2 photos to my review.

There are 2 panels in a box. Yes, you can cut them to fit. But once you stick them with the attached bonding I do not advise removal.
