A good choice if you need this type of switch.
This "industrial" Ethernet switch is suitable for installations where you need to have an Ethernet switch amongst other elements of your equipment. It can make for a neater installation than using a small conventional switch tucked into the device. Performance was fine for my application. It is an unmanaged switch, so if you need a device that can be controlled and monitored you will need to get a more sophisticated device. It seemed to get rather warm as it worked away switching Ethernet packets. Its performance and small size may be suitable for your applications.

Works well
It was just what I needed for my pool house that gets really hot in the summer.

Not POE capable but good 10/100 switch
I mistakenly thought this 10/100 switch was POE capable - but I was wrong. I confirmed it was not POE, but otherwise worked well.Interestingly, it features a redundant power input. I did not have an industrial power supply but I found an unused 24V adapter. I cut off its barrel and verified its voltage and polarity. I then connected it to the “PWR1” side of the terminal block. “P1” LED lights up. I could add a small jumper wire to “PWR2” to get “P2” to light up but this is unnecessary.Seems pretty solid. Only downsides are it is neither gigabit nor POE.For what it’s worth, it also comes with a blank unsigned “qualified” certificate tag.

Good unit
A good value for the money, this unit has the hardware you need and decent instructions. Made for industrial purposes, we used this to extend a wireless access point. Does it’s job as intended and good DIN rail mount with a small footprint. Highly recommend.

Built for high performance in harsh environments
Even the best laid plans often fall short of what we later learn is needed to adequately cover the situation. That is especially true for today’s digital communications systems. And it has happened to me in my new home that was planned 5 years ago and built 3 years ago … what I thought was enough for “future expansion” has already been maxed out.So now I find myself needing to install a new Ethernet switch in my unconditioned attic area to multiply the digital end points that then utilize existing Cat6A cables that run to my central DstaComm Closet. And I was worried about the summer heat, winter cold, humidity, and dust affecting the equipment I need to place there.Enter this switch designed to operate in a harsh industrial environment … and my problems are solved. It’s purpose is to consistently perform in even worse conditions than I expect to encounter in my attic. Now I can reconnect those little used ports from which I “borrowed” their cable runs to the central switch and add a couple more I have been wanting to install for additional security cameras.

Strong industrial, solid metal construction, vibration resistance and excellent instructions
You can tell immediately that this was designed to industrial grade standards. The switch housing is constructed of solid steel, it has excellent shielding and disperses the heat output evenly without the need of an internal fan. EMF readings are in the acceptable range at 1.5 inches from the body of the switch. It does require a wiring harness and some basic electrical wiring to supply power to the switch. Neither of which are supplied with the device and will need to be purchased separately. Normally I would deduct a star for this, but due to the exceptional high quality and industrial construction. I feel it is warranted. Hopefully, this review will inform other buyers to expect this if they are not already aware from the product listing. I would imagine that most of the potential buyers of this switch are professional installers and skilled in basic wiring. I would recommend this switch.

Works great!
I needed this to replace an existing switch in a small control panel that was failing. It dropped right in, didn't have to make any changes to anything- it just worked. It is also smaller than the one it replaced, which is a bonus. The small control panel has an Allen Bradley Micro 820 PLC, a PanelView 800, and an AnyBus "Bolt" access point. It is talking to a SCADA system through the AnyBus Bolt. Have not had any issues at all.

Works great!
Used in a heavy industrial factory, on a monitored network. Not a single communication loss in the last few months it's been installed. Will be buying more!
