Motion Pro Cable Luber V3 Tool

I lubricanted my throttle control cables from my Fly Bridge to the engine room. It builds up pressure forcing the cable lube into the cable. Keep your fingers on the aerosol cans plastic feed tube as pressure will pop it out. Works well very glad I bought this tool.

Probably any cable lubricator is going to be somewhat of a mess. This unit does a decent job.There are some shortfalls in the design. It has NOT worked on about half the cables I've tried it on, the primary problem being there is not enough room INSIDE the unit for some types of cables/slug-ends. My Banshee for instance: It worked OK for the clutch and emergency brake cables, but not the throttle cable.The plunger can not be extended from the body of the unit without the use of a plier. A snug fit is good, but I don't think it has to be THAT tight.The spray extender tube fits into the tool a very little bit. It would be easier to use if it stayed IN place better.Not a terrific tool given the cables it does NOT fit, but not awful either.

I find the lube tool easy to use, not nearly as messy as other lubers. I have used on my JetSki cables but it will work for just about any cable. Great products.

Awesome to have no leaks and get good pressure to force lube down bicycle cables.

Will not work with Mercury outboard shift or throttle cables.

I needed to lubricate the shift cable on my boat because it was working stiffly. I ordered this tool because I liked the way it seals on the sheath so that the lube is forced inside along the cable. It worked perfectly! I also did the throttle cable while I was at it. I highly recommend this tool for lubricating cables.

Been trying to write more Reviews, especially for products that work for me. I was trying to lube the Throttle Cables on an older Harley Softail. I tried some YouTube "hacks" and spent two hours accomplishing nothing, wasting Lube and making a mess ... so i broke down and bought this thing. Was VERY skeptical, especially at the bad reviews of the older models. But this one/new design worked perfectly, i was shocked to be honest! I even shot the lube in "backwards" from the bottom end of cable (that attaches to carb) since the top end has an "L" shape so you can't get the "Luber" attached. It's gonna make a little bit of a mess, but sure as heck, the Lube shot out the top of the Cable in like 3 seconds ... shot all the old black crud out too, so i am very happy and pleased with the result. Don't lose the Black Rubber Grommet Thing, i think that is the "trick" so keep it safe! The V3 is a little "pricey", but worked great for me so worth it.
