Even nicer than I had hoped for!
This arrived today and is already assembled and under my desk in the home office. Even better quality than I had expected -- sturdy metal sides and interior shelf, with a laminate-type top. Assembly was not too bad -- I did it by myself, but it would have been a little easier to have a second person holding the sides in place while I placed the first couple screws. Rather than a printer, I used it for extra printer paper and some other office supplies (e.g. 3-hole punch) -- Perfect for tucking away under the desk when not in use, and sliding out when needed. Great value and convenient size.

Perfect for what I need
Excellent mobile stand for under-desk use. Easy assembly. Better than expected quality. The entire frame, sides, back, and shelf are sturdy, well-finished metal. The top is wood covered in durable laminate and edge-banded. All 4 wheels swivel and roll easily. Overall fit and finish is equal to if not better than stands costing much more. The bottom shelf can hold two stacks of letter size paper side by side. The rear panel has no holes for cable pass-thru, which might be inconvenient if you plan to have powered accessories on the lower shelf. My old Laserjet 1200 fits the stand perfectly and having it tucked under the desk saves space and is even more convenient than before. I am very happy with this item and will probably order a second stand to offload even more desktop clutter. My only complaint is that it ships in the manufacturer's carton with no overboxing. Luckily it arrived undamaged, but that may not always be the case.

Bring a third hand and a ratcheting screw driver if you want to assemble this unit.
This is my second Safco Scoot stand. I like the first one so much that I bought a second one in a different color. It is durable, attractive, and well-made.I had forgotten, however, how difficult it was to assemble the unit. The directions offer no written explanation -- just an "exploded" drawing, plus a couple of steps in sketch form. The individual pieces are mostly unlabeled, so it can be difficult to determine which piece fits where, and whether it should be placed in front or behind another piece. The starter holes in the wooden top are virtually nonexistent, making screwing in the screws a major chore.Speaking of which --IMPORTANT NOTE -- a regular screwdriver won't work well. You need something that will fit into a tight space, like a ratcheting screwdriver. It is also helpful to have a buddy nearby to hold the various parts in place while you screw the screws into their respective holes.Think of it as a bonding moment with your friend or significant other.Once you have it assembled, you will love it. It is quite nice, and worth the trouble, especially if you and your buddy are still friends at the end of the assembly project.

small and sturdy
Although a touch more challenging to assemble than I expected (I'm a stickler for alignment, and aligning all 3 side panels so the bottom shelf sits perfectly flat was difficult) this is a very sturdy and compact printer stand. I display it with the (solid-panel) back out to hide all the paper and supplies stored in it, and it looks great this way. It's simple to roll one end out, grab what supplies I need, and roll it right back in -- a beautiful thing.

Nice small printer stand. Easy to assemble as there are only 6 pieces.
I noticed several reviews stating how difficult this was to assemble and the inadequate instructions provide. As for the instructions - Pictures included which is all I needed as a male. :-) I mean seriously, there are only 6 pieces that go together. If you can't handle that I would suggest going to your local office supply store and paying more. I used a battery powered drill with a screwdriver bit which worked fine. The manufacturer did not allow the screw holes to be drilled larger which keeps everything tight and secure. All of the screws tightened up nicely and I did not strip a one. My suggestion would be if you are going to buy furniture requiring assembly, buy a battery power drill and a bit. They are inexpensive and will save you a lot of frustration and possibly even a few expletives.

Great printer stand
This was very easy to assemble and does the job perfectly. I have a Canon Pixma MP280 printer and it fits perfectly on top of this stand, my printer paper, envelopes, and extra supplies fit neatly in the cubby underneath. My desk is very shallow, so I don't have this under my desk but rather to the side. I was surprised at how heavy it is - it is metal and the the top is laminated wood. I would purchase this again for sure.

Nearly well done......
Assembly of this item would be more easily performed if;A --- The screw holes for securing the top were better drilled or the top was actual wood rather than low quality composite since. It tends to shatter when the screws are tightened unless the holes are redrilled to correct size before inserting and attempting to tighten the screws.B --- The screws look good, but due to poor quality material, performed poorly, and was unable to seat any of them properly. The metal framing and panels are well designed and deserve better fasteners than those supplied.Having said this will say that the basic engineering appears to be good enough to earn the thing a nearly well done, if a bit wobbly due to screw problems.Luckily, intended use did not require casters.

Great Little Printer Cart
This printer cart was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a cart with rollers and paper storage that I could roll under my desk when not in use. Its sturdy and my Canon Pixma all in one printer sits perfectly on top of it. And, two of the wheels have little break nubs that are easily operated. With the weight of the printer and paper, I don't anticipate it moving too much but it's a nice feature. The only reason I didn't give it a top rating was the assembly instructions and the screws. The instructions could have been MUCH clearer and the screws...let just say it takes some torque to get the screws in.Overall, once assembled its a great little cart!
