The rainbow is beautiful. The quality of the decal is excellent. Easy to install. I read all the reviews and I agree to disagree with some. Most state that it’s a MUST to apply to a white wall (the seller also suggest and on the roll itself) or it doesn’t look right or it looks like a big square sticker… I don’t agree. My daughter’s room is a very light gray and as I was concerned also, after reading comments, I became very hesitant to buy. I took a chance anyway and I’m glad I did. If I would have taken any advice from any of the other reviews it would have been from the lady who spent time cutting the white edge from around the rainbow, however I chose to leave it as is and it turned out just fine…. OR because the rainbow is made to look imperfect I would just buy 3 different boho similar colors of paint (pint size) and paint my own rainbow without worrying about if it would be perfect. Now, to the part of the review that I personally look for is the Cons… after taking my precious time to apply each layer as instructed and also with a smoothing spatula for wallpaper/decals, here I have this lovely 1/2 rainbow exactly as I pictured it would look…….. the next day the 2nd strip started to get bubbles in it as if I didn’t smooth it as I slowly peeled the backing off. (Another thing, if you read the description entirely it also stated that it comes with the smoothing tool… which it DID NOT) sooo I went back and tried smoothing the bubbles out they went away for a few minutes then came back. Now, I have this beautiful rainbow completely up and dealing with bubbles. I purchased another roll of the same rainbow which is not cheap for 3 strips, so when I’m tired of looking at these bubbles I can take it down a redo it (because it states 1 time use) For now it is what it is and I will deal with it. I do recommend the product and I also recommend not worrying about the color of the wall if it’s not white. If putting on a darker wall then cut the white trim off as the other review stated.

First, disclaimer:This is for white walls as it has a white background to it.Solution:Cut around it to your liking, how thin or how wide, your choice. Then place them on your wall. Mind is a egg shell color like, so I'm okay with the white trimming. Especially since I'm not done with his room in that area.Took about 30 minutes to cut. Was quick putting them on. Follow the instructions, I personally just eyed it and went from there.My review:Came prepped and ready to stick. Just peel off the layer. Came with instructions on how-to, as well. I didn't use it. My wall is a flat surface, so I didn't have any issues. It's beautiful,not just for a girls room. Definitely neutral. This section of his room isn't done, but it is used to put up all his rewards and metals. I wanted a nice background, nothing to out there, something simple yet fit for a calm settled 5 year old. This was it.Looking forward to putting up more frames of his certificates tomorrow.Again, white wall background. But if like me, just cut it out.

It is not clear in the description that there is a white background behind the rainbow, meaning you can only install on a white wall.

If your wall isn't the same white as the sticker, It'll look like a square giant sticker with a rainbow on it. I was expecting maybe 3 stickers of the rainbow pieces themselves. Not sheets. Not worth the hassle of cutting off the white inbetween the rainbows either. They're not straight lines.I threw it out. Whoops.
