They work great. Had to use a rubber mallet to tap a few on but wood could of been a but thicker from being green too. If you can trim with a saw and saws all you can use this just fine. 6x6 beams are heavy duty and these will keep the ground from rotting the base if you out it on dirt.

This product is excellent. It provides easy installation of 4x4’s on concrete and will allow easy replacement of the 4x4’s should the need arise.The product is good quality, well painted and is supplied with the necessary hardware to install. Easy instructions have also been provided for ease of installation.I highly recommend it to anyone needing this application.It should also be noted that the it arrived quickly and was exactly as the photos show.

Overall this is a good value, but the metal used is not very strong and bends when screws are inserted through the base into the wood. Also notable, the 1/4 wedge anchors provided are likely undersize for most applications. As others have noted, I had to drill out the hole and use larger anchors. Also as others have noted, it would be nice to have additional screw holes on the other 2 sides. Still a good value despite the drawbacks- just budget for additional larger anchors.

Well made and very sturdy. Worked well to mount post to concrete.

We replaced the standard post brackets that came with our Gazebo. The posts were wicking water from our sprinklers because they were too close to the concrete. Lifted the gazebo and replaced the post brackets (5.5”x 5.5” post size). Worked perfectly. Now the posts are 5/8” above the concrete.

The size of the bracket and solidity of of construction

As noted in the description, these come in two parts, with two sides for each square post, so you can adjust them to fit any size above about 3 1/4 inch wide wood. This means that the supports aren't quite as strong as a solid piece would be. But for many purposes I presume this will work ok. It's really there to attach the post to something else with some extra support.I likely won't get to use these for a while, since I can't currently do much of anything in the snow, and can't afford wood right now either, but hopefully by summer I'll be able to start building projects, and will test these out then for real. I'll report back if anything of note happens with them when I do use them. (I'm probably building a covered "garage" for my bicycle (with trailer), garden cart, and some other large, unwieldy, outdoor things that I want a roof over, and that don't easily fit through normal doors. So these post bases will likely be used for the corner posts for that building structure. Maybe with a proper cement base, or maybe just a simple wood platform. I bought 8 6x6 post holders. They are solid and beautiful. No complaints.

This is exactly what I was looking for the gauge of the metal is good and the design that includes lifting the post off the bottom is well thought out. The only weakness would be that the concrete anchors are light duty and too Short to align 6 holes at a time.

They come with screws and anchors very good for the money. I only needed 2 this is why I bought these and it is well made
