We recently got these and they’ve quickly become our new favorite chew treats. Their long, flat shape makes them easy for my 9‑year‑old small dog to grip, and the texture is just firm enough to offer a satisfying crunch without being too hard—crucial now that she’s had 15 teeth removed. She can happily gnaw away without discomfort, and I love that they hold together well with minimal mess. Our dogs love these tendons. They're chewy enough to keep them engaged for a minute or two as a treat, and just pliable enough that they can be put inside toys for a longer-lasting challenge. The tendons are thin and a little crispy with no strong smell, making them a great choice to put in toys.Quality has been consistently good and the packaging is quite durable, too.

Of course my dog loves them because she is a dog, and they are meat.Positives:•They are 100% made/processed and packed in the USA, which is hard to find.•They are made with just one ingredient•My dog’s tummy handled these very well.Negatives:•I was not impressed with whatever the dark flecks in the package are. Is that burned matter from baking them? Why are those not removed before packaging?•They smell stale, like oil that has gone off, which is not as good for for the health of creatures of any kind.

This is the second time I have purchased this. These ones were much better than the first order I received. These were more like the original Bark Harvest Turkey Tendons from years ago. I am glad that they are very close to them. My dog loves them. Simple ingredients. Always try to feed my dog healthy treats. I no longer purchase store bought treats except for these. I will purchase them again. Buy them, you won't be disappointed!

Should have read the reviews before purchasing. The treats smell similar to imported dog treats. I had a similar experience as others mention in their reviews where their dog throws them up. I gave my dog a Turkey Tendon treat and he wasn't exactly thrilled with it, he ate it anyways and then through it up shortly after. I tried again a few days later and he through it up shortly again. I'm convinced the Riley Turkey Tendon Treats were the cause. I do not recommend purchasing these, especially since there are no returns accepted on this item. Hope this helps prevent others having a similar experience.

UPDATE #2: The issue with the smell the first time I ordered was definitely storage. Second order and the product is perfect. I am SO GLAD I can get these turkey tendons that actually single ingredient!! Great for our little dog, who has a delicate stomach and delicate teeth. :)UPDATE: First if all, my dog did not care about the shampoo smell and the tendons did not make her stomach upset (she throws up easily, so it’s not hard to tell.) After a couple of weeks the smell dissipated, so my guess is that the problem had to do with warehouse storage and not the product itself. I just ordered another bag, and hopefully it will have a neutral odor.I REALLY appreciate being able to purchase a truly single ingredient treat, which is so hard to find (most turkey tendons have glycerin, which makes our dog throw up) so I’m changing my review to four stars. Will update to five if the next package comes without smelling like fragranced soap!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was excited to find "single ingredient" turkey tendons, because so many are made with glycerin and my dog throws that up. But these are literally scented!?! Gives me a headache. At first I thought it was the bag they came in, but the tendons themselves smell like strongly scented shampoo or hair conditioner. I don't know what is going on, but not sure how these can be marketed as "single ingredient" when they are infused with a synthetic fragrance.

My dog loves them, and it's good for her teeth, too! I think it's like chewing gum for dogs. These don't smell at all as far as I can tell. They don't last too long but at least she doesn't inhale them like some treats. I will buy these again for sure.
