Works GREAT!
I don't know what took me so long to jump onto the Power Pole bandwagon. One day I looked at a few of my devices and they all pretty much all had different power connectors.I suppose that if your equipment never moves and will always use the same power source, not having the same connectors isn't that big of a deal. For me that wasn't the case.I am a HAM radio operator and am constantly moving my stuff around. Sometimes out to the lab bench and even to my truck for some mobile operations. I guess what made me make the switch was when I took a transceiver over to a friend's house and forgot to bring a mating power connector along. He and most of his pals used Power Pole connectors exclusively. One of the cool things is that the15, 30 and 45 amp contacts all use the same housing. This way they will all connect to each other. The size of the contact area is the same for all of the contacts with the only difference between them is the size of the contact barrel that accepts the wire. The big debate is whether to crimp or solder the wire to the connector. Well, we all should know that a good mechanical connection is the first thing to do when soldering a connection. Power Pole strongly suggests crimping. Personally, I crimp and then solder. The most important thing is to make sure that whatever crimper you use it must keep the barrel part of the connector round. So I am now one of the many Power Pole promoters. I think that all of us ham radio operators use these connectors. Think about this one scenario. One of our primary missions is to be prepared to assist in emergency situations. Wouldn't it be advantageous for all of us to have compatible power connectors if we took our equipment to the field or another "Remote" location? Need to be further away from the power source? An extension cord is easy to build even with a larger gauge wire because it will still fit the other connectors.Enough said. I like these connectors as well as some of the accessories available such as a chassis/bulkhead connector and especially the rubber style boots.

30 amp connector great for making adapter cords.
Good connectors fitting the metal crimp part into the plastic housing is pretty tough. Had to use a tiny screw driver to push them in. Great universal connector. I’ve made a lot of extension and adapter cords for solar panels.

Well, they work....
these will work but they do not appear to be genuine Anderson connectors. Then again the seller never claimed that they were Anderson brand.

Stay Connected
I’ve converted nearly all my devices to connect to power with these; they’re convenient and reliable. Always good to have extra connectors on hand.

Power pole order as expected
Everything as expected.

Not Anderson, but work well enough for me.
I primarily use these for ham radio and sometimes for automotive applications. They aren’t Anderson, but they don’t have the Anderson price tag and they fit PowerPole holders, etc.WD9HRP
