Solid set with extras
These are solid strings that rival other brand names for around the same price. Technically these are a few dollars more than the Martin equivalents, however, they do come with 3 picks and a tool to pop out your bridge pegs. If you need those things, then this is probably a good set to go with. If you don't, it makes sense to me to go with Martins for a few bucks cheaper. Either way, the strings are solid quality and produce a nice tone.

Clear, bright, and sturdy.
There are quite a few people I've known that don't believe that strings can make that much of a difference but they do. There have been a few obvious exceptions like the overpriced novelty "cold strings" that were around for a while in the Nineties. They sounded awful and flat regardless of what guitar they were on but they were the exception. I've never heard of this brand of strings before so I didn't know what to expect.Whenever I put strings on I stretch them a little just to get them ready. All this requires is laying them out flat and stretching them out with a hand on both ends. This helps to minimize the latency that can happen due to the strings packaging position. It is also a better method than traditional stretching technique and if you are inexperienced you'll probably break less strings putting them on. I had no problem with these. They held the tuning with minimal adjustment time.Once on the strings sounded bright and clear. While this is to be expected for any new set of strings it is not always so obvious. These sounded good and with proper care they should stay that way. The description states that the strings are coated with an anti-oxidizing agent but it has been my experience that any factory processes don't really make much of a difference. If you clean your strings after each use they will resist oxidization for the time they are on your guitar. Simply take an alcohol wipe and gently run it down each string. I prefer the rewrapped individual pads. They are not saturated so they won't overdue it and they will help keep that fresh out of the package sound and feel longer.I kept these strings in standard (EADGBE) for about five days just to break them in. I don't usually play the guitar in standard tuning preferring alternate/open tunings so by the end of the week it was time to give these strings the true test. I tuned the guitar to three different tunings*, Double Drop D (DADGBD), Open E (EBEG#BE), and the alternate tuning DGCGCD. I chose these three tunings because they represent different tensions and these strings held up to the challenge. They sounded bright and adjusted well going from the lower tension of the Double Drop D to the higher tension of the Open E and they performed beautifully on the ethereal rich voicing of DGCGCD. It is worth mentioning that I also used a capo on various standard and alternative positions right down to the twelfth fret and the sound was still crisp and clean.I was initially going to give these strings a rating of four stars. The strings give a clear bright response, break in easily, and are flexible enough for anyone who plays in a variety of styles. The different tunings really put them through a litmus test and they performed as well as any other strings I've used. The package also includes some extras like three different size picks and a peg removal tool. My hesitance was due to the fact that these are a little pricey for an off brand set of strings and that might be an issue for some folks. I would have preferred less extra amenities in favor of a lower price point as any guitarist already owns these extras but in the end I gave it the full five stars because the strings really did hold up well in regard to the vigorous testing that I put them through. I've been playing and teaching the guitar for over 45 years and these strings held their own with the best of them. If you're hesitant to trust your guitar's sound to an unknown brand of strings then let me reassure you that these are as solid as any brand name strings on the market today and that's the best endorsement I can give any musical product.________________* For those of you with a curious mind, the Double Drop D was a favorite of Neil Young while the Open E was the go to tuning of Skip James and Duane Allman (open tunings are necessary for true slide guitar playing). The alternate tuning of DGCGCD was the tuning Jimmy Page used on Led Zeppelin's "Rain Song", one of my favorite songs to play. If you're interested in this technique of guitar I suggest starting with Open G "DGDGBD". It's a little easier to experiment with particularly if you're new to different tunings. If you stick with it it will change the way you approach playing the guitar and make it all that much more enjoyable.

Just a nice, bright set of light guitar strings.
I swapped out the set of 12's that came on my backup acoustic guitar, hoping that being a lighter 11 guage set, it would be a little easier to hold barre chords down, and I believe that to be the case, but it's pretty subtle. These strings are well made, and they are very bright sounding with lots of harmonics, and very playable. They are not particularly any cheaper than the name brands that are available locally or here on Amazon, so I can't think of any reason to recommend these over those better known brands, but they are perfectly serviceable guitar strings.

Nice backup strings
Got these as back up strings for my acoustic guitar, just something i like to keep extra in the gig back just Incase i ever need. Looks wise it's hard to tell the difference between these and the Ernie's i have installed which is nice, meaning they won't look to odd if i have to install them in the middle of playing at any time. But as far as sound and quality, i have not been able to test them, like i said i got these as emergency back ups, but if they are good enough, I'll definitely be getting more again later.

5 - String Broke Easily
The 5 String broke before I could even get it remotely close to tuned.

A bit more expensive than my favorite brand but not by a lot
I ordered these guitar strings for my Montclair G-425. This guitar is old, made in the 70s, the tone is amazing on this guitar but much like a Martin, it had high gauge strings on it and I can’t press on high gauge strings easily as I have hyper mobility (it’s a blessing and a curse as a musician) and my fingers tend to lock into a bent position when trying to push down thicker strings. I usually buy Martin and Co’s phosphor bronze custom lights or D’Addario’s bronze custom lights and these feel very similar. I pre-stretched these strings and installed them and played on standard tuning and the tone was bright and crisp. I transposed into open E and also used a capo on these strings and the tone remained clear and resonant. These are slightly more expensive strings than the other two brands I use but not by much at all especially considering the little gifts it comes with. It includes 3 varying weight picks and a pin remover (which for this specific guitar I actually highly appreciate because of its age the pins do not come out as easy as my Gibson and fender guitars) Overall: I’m pleasantly impressed with the quality of these strings they do play differently than the other two brands but each brand has its own time and place. I do still prefer my Martin and Co’s but if they’re ever out of stock these Singer strings will be my go to back up!

High quality strings
Nice strings - should last a while. My husband plays guitar and these strings are of good quality like most of the other strings he buys. Price is about average. Was nice to get a few picks and the string changing tool (which my husband doesn't use). They included a variation of 3 picks - light, medium and heavy in a few different shapes and colors. They're actually pretty nice.
