Safe place for phone
I love that this speaker has a place for me to put my phone while I’m playing music. Most speakers I’ve bought don’t have a phone holder. This speaker connects to Bluetooth first try every time. It has amazing sound quality and the microphones are crystal clear and not staticy like some of my more expensive ones are. The battery life is pretty good and usually lasts about 12-15 hours of non stop listening. Great value

TOTAL GARBAGE!
Had to return it immediately. The master volume control doesn't work. It just made a little beeping noise as the dial would spin endlessly around. I guess a 3 year old might have some fun spinning it. The echo button doesn't work. It has a natural echo to the sound that makes it worthless for a clear voice to carry. Some of the buttons are just for show! No wonder it doesn't come with operating instructions for those fake buttons! There's a lot of false advertising going on here. They claim it's portable but it's not. There's no battery and it ,has to be plugged in. It's Bluetooth is only useful if you buy another identical speaker to pair with it. The microphones are not Bluetooth, which I knew when I ordered it, but one had a broken jack and the cords weren't very long. (Maybe 10 feet at the most) They falsely claim you can have a "true stereo experience" with this speaker. That's impossible because it only has one speaker. Maybe there's a way to do it with two speakers, but I doubt it since the speakers are paired. The "phone stand" that they brag about is actually just two little bumps of plastic in front of the speaker handle! What a pyle of ****! Also, I opted for Amazon packaging to hide the content of the box, but that didn't happen, and the box was all wrinkled from being crushed, however the interior foam kept the speaker from showing any damage. Before I ordered this, Amazon told me I would have 30 days of free shipping, and that didn't happen either. ($6.99)

My expectations have been exceeded
Final Update: I was playing around and found out how to adjust the echo. Since all y'all are just dying to know, here it is. After pressing the button I turned the volume knob and the echo changed. I now have it off. Still only 4 stars for Pyle support and documentation issues.Update: I contacted Pyle about not being able to turn the reverb (echo) off. They were no help. Just kept asking for an invoice for proof of purchase. I asked why they couldn't tell me how to turn it off and was just asked again for proof of purchase. Why do they need that to provide instructions? Fortunately, I did not intend to use this with a microphone in the first place.Edited 11/2023I do services at area nursing homes and have been looking for a small portable device to make sure people can hear me. The smallest speaker I have is a personal stage monitor that is supposed to be 150 watts. It's geared toward professional musicians on stage. Now, it works fine for if I want to hear me. But the speaker doesn't project across the room very well so is useless as a PA. Also, there is a bad cabinet resonance they makes microphones sound woofy. My requirements are as follows:Must be small and portable.Must be loud enough to reach an audience in nursing home common areas.Must have acceptable sound quality and be feedback resistant. So I just got this today and tried it out. Going out from a small USB mixer to the aux input, I tried my guitar and several mics. I thought it wouldn't be very loud. But it really has a decent amount of gain. The sound is clean, without audible distortion, and the gain before feedback is really quite good. The frequency response is good and the enclosure has no noticable rattling or buzzing. One of my greatest concerns was that it would have that transitor radio tin can sound. Sometimes it's nice to wrong. It really does sound pretty good. It's not the holy grail of sound but it's pretty good. The only shortcoming so far is the unit powered on with reverb in the microphones. I can't turn it off. At least it's reverb and not that horrid echo. But I'm going through the aux input so I can live with it.

Sound is really good, and it was super easy to set up. Bluetooth works good too.

The speaker talks LOUDLY and you can’t turn it off.
If you’re trying to perform something, the speaker announces LOUDLY to the audience that it’s on and then announces LOUDLY to the audience that it's Bluetooth connected to a device. I’m not trying to do comedy!

terible
It's not just a minor inconvenience but a significant hindrance to enjoying any form of media.I would strongly advise against purchasing the Pyle 4” Wireless BT Streaming Speaker based on my experience. The product does not meet the basic expectations for a speaker in its price range, and the quality issues seem to be a widespread concern based on other reviews I've come across.Additionally, the customer support experience has been less than stellar. Despite reaching out for assistance, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution or even acknowledgment of the issue. In conclusion, save yourself the frustration and look for alternative options that offer better sound quality and reliability.
