The table was delivered damaged. It was delivered to the wrong apt and the package was torn and damaged. The corner of my table is smashed in and the alignment of the top is off and doesn't close

As others have noted this item can arrived damaged. The first shipment didn't show any signs of external damage to the outer or inner box, but when we opened the inner there was another box that contained the legs and this box was torn. When we opened it up one of the leg assemblies was in pieces. I reported this and requested a replacement. We got the replacement in a few days and this one was intact.The table assembly is rather straightforward and they provide the tool (Allen Wrench) needed to put it together.We are very happy with the look of the table. The drawers work great as does the mechanism that lifts the table top up and toward seating. We have quite a large space (with both a couch and love seat) and the size and proportions of the table (along with the matching end tables) works perfectly.

We eat in front of the TV (more than we should) and I got tired of either having the plate in my lap or having to eat off of the low coffee table, and TV trays would have just been a pain. So, I saw a couple lift-top coffee tables when searching for a coffee table for another room, and decided to investigate further. Sure, there are cheaper models out there, but you get what you pay for. This table is very sturdy - none of that flimsy particle board, and the lift mechanism seems strong too. And it works absolutely PERFECTLY for us. The only thing we changed was that we wanted the drawers on the side facing the couch (that the table lifted up to) so we could access them more easily, so we just unscrewed the lift mechanism and rotated it around so the table opened the other way and we could have the drawers facing the sofa. (Fairly) easy fix, and now it's even more perfect!

It is a beautiful table but showed up with a lot of damage, which complicated assembly because one corner was destroyed and we couldn’t attach where it was supposed to. It is very heavy and still looks good, so we didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. Plus, it was the holidays and we wanted to use it to squeeze in additional family for dinner. When lifted, it’s not real sturdy to do much on, but it serves the purpose we bought it for.

Just unpacked and put it together. It wasn’t that hard to put together (there’s 4 pieces). The hardest part was getting it out of the box but that was because it was just me putting it together.The only thing I do not like is that the drawers open on the opposite side of the lift top. I also thought that there would be storage in the lift top but it opens into the bottom shelf.Otherwise it looks nice.

I thought this was a heavy duty nice table. But after less than a year the top of the table has warped so much it has ripped the screws out and I can no longer use the lift top feature. Nothing was spilled on the table nothing hot nothing that would cause the wood to warp. It has naturally lifted about 3-5" and the screws from the hardware to lift the table have came out of the wood due to this. They way it is constructed It is very difficult to fix and most likely even if I do the wood is so warped it still doesnt sit flat or look nice anymore.

As a first time home buyer we purchased this coffee table for our living room and table arrived damaged with multiple broken parts and lose screws. Very disappointed as we had gotten it prior to our house warming party and was such an inconvenience that we had to go out and buy a different table.

I ordered this table twice from 2 different sellers thinking that the first may have been damaged due to the seller’s shipping method. Both items were received extremely damaged, which I now believe is due to the poor quality of this table and probably the manner in which Ashley packaged this. The first order arrived broken in multiple places. The frame was cracked and when I lifted it from the packing it actually fell apart as it is made from particle board. Screws from the frame were loose in the box. One of the table legs was also cracked. I had already assembled a matching side table so wanted to try again with the Coffee table. The second table arrived with the lift mechanism ripped out of the frame and the screws were scattered in the box. We could not screw the lift mechanism back in as the holes were too large from the screws having been ripped out and the metal was actually bent. There was also a damaged leg as with the first table. Save yourself the trouble. This table is junk.
