I used this saw for some large cutting at my church! It did an excellent job! Starting it isn't difficult, and it cuts very well, even for large oak trees. I'm happy with the performance for the price!

Got saw would not run properly had to bring it to dealer to get tuned in now saw is working like it should this brand is good one but like buying a vehicle they all have there ups and downs

I am normally a Stihl person and have used that brand of tool for years, but based on recent periodical reviews I decided to try the Husqvarna brand. The item came in a sealed, brand new box and appeared in good condition. I followed the relevant instructions to start it (which is a 5 step process) and it would not start. After trying for a long time, I eventually got it to start but it would not keep running in idle and quickly shut down. It would only keep running under throttle and after cutting a 3" limb, the unit shut down again. I decided to take it to a local repair technician who stated that this was a USED unit! He showed me where the throttle control screw was completely worn out and the engine cylinder was damaged. This item was sold to me as NEW, but clearly was not. I give it a one star rating, not because it is a crappy product (which Husqvarna is not) but because I was mislead and was sold a chainsaw which clearly was used and returned to the seller and repackaged.

Worked great for taking care of trees after a storm knocked them down.
