I started using this a few months ago, and i bought the trial size (the smaller container on top) and even that lasted me through around a dozen set of nails. I have pretty long nails already so i like to use a competitive form (the gold foil ones) to extend a little past my natural nail, but ive also experimented with poly forms and this gel works great for both. I’ve tried a few other gels since i first started but i finally committed and bought the big tub. Out of all the gels i’ve tried this one remains my favorite as it’s so simple to use and since it’s a thicker gel it’s much more forgiving. I recommend this to anyone who asks where i get my nails done as well as to those who complain about brittle nails. As long as you extend a few mm past your free edge these will not crack or budge, Im a stable hand and to a lot of other work with my hands and i’ve never had these break on me.

I'm now doing my own french gel manicures at home like everyone else. This is the gel they use at my salon so I know this is a quality product. I used this both as a builder and a top coat and my first home manicure came out pretty good. You do need to know how to sand down and prep nails for a fill (you also need a bonder for a fill) and also to sand down the new layer of gel before you apply your colored polish. Instructions and demos can be found on YouTube. This stuff is easy to apply and you can work with it and move it around if you have a good brush.I have read some reviews about this product where people say they can't get it to harden under the lamp and that it stays sticky and will not completely dry. The trick is to wet a little piece of paper towel with rubbing alcohol and go over the nails after 2-3 minutes under the lamp. The alcohol will make the gel rock hard and smooth and shiny. This gel as a top coat is the shiz and after 7 years of manicures with this, I can say my nails rarely chip unless I do something really stupid. I have natural nails and I have never needed acrylic tips because this stuff is so strong. My real nails grow out super long and never break.Highly recommend this product!!! Think I'm done going to the salon if it's this easy to do at home!!

I do nails and have gotten into using more gel builder and gel x since this has become very popular and I love this product. It works well and stays well on the nails

I just did my nails yesterday and I absolutely love this product. I have a clear I wish I would’ve got the pink, but I just been having issues with color and I wanted to just keep it simple and hopefully the clear would have worked better and it did like I was able to just really manage how much I put on I did have to buy my own brushes to paint on the builder gel, but it was such an easy process. I love the way it. it’s solidified my nail I feel like my nails are really strong now although this is just yesterday that I did them they feel like they’ll be long lasting so if not, I’ll probably change my reading but so far I really really appreciate them. They look so good And it was just really easy to apply. I had to repair one of my nails and it came in thick I was able to make a nice thick layer over my nail and it was just really easy to manage super grateful for this product.

I started using builder gel after my nail tech recommended I try it. I absolutely loved it until she moved and no longer could service me 😭 I ended up buying this (it was the same brand she used) and continued doing my own nails with it. While I’m not as good as my beloved nail tech amy, this stuff does wonders. I watched a few tutorials and have been using it for a few weeks. It reinforced my brittle nails so they don’t break and helps my gel manicures last nearly 3 weeks. Takes some getting use to learning how to apply and it definitely burns but once you figure it out it’s not bad. You have to put your finger in and out of the lamp quickly for the first few seconds when curing the builder gel.

I’ve been using this stuff for almost a year now and I’ve only had to buy one once so far. It takes a few times to perfect the shaping and nail prep. I get compliments all the time and people are amazed that I do my own nails. They last longer then three weeks, and I fill them.

This has so many uses! I used it to build an overlay atop full cover press ons, and now the strength on them is amazing. Hard as rock! Oftentimes before even if I glued my nails on well, the nail itself would break. I'm telling you now I won't have that problem anymore! It's a little sticky after curing which helps with gem gluing and overcoat. I don't like dip or acrylic for how difficult it is to remove; I think I've found the easy solution. Take a flat brush and put as much as you need, the versatility is wonderful!!

I absolutely fell in love with this hard gel. I do my own nails at home and have zero professional experience. I love to do my own nails as part of my hobby and I have struggled with acrylic. I was a loyal polygel girl but do not like to use the forms and decided to give hard gel a try. I am now a loyal hard gel girl. I love using it to protect my paper thin nails. Its clear and has not yellowed. Whenever i feel like having longer nails, its been easy to extend my nails and shape them. Never going back to polygel.
