Extremely versatile for the money
With a ton of control, you can control 12 individual lights with 16 channels each. I would highly recommend running lights with less than 8 channels as you need to change the sliders you have setup to adjust the next 8 channels. You also do auto mode or go with the Music with the built in mic. A pet peeve is your set values are not refreshed automatically when changing pages when in program mode. And if you set a scene on a bank, every other channel that doesn't have a value set will still be sent to the light even though u didn't set a value.Another thing, this thing is HUGE, like 18 inches wide.Still super worth the money, makes working with my old 10 year old DMX compatible lights a breeze! Got these for some new motorized lights I just got, and its super awesome being able to have synced control of each light! If the light fixture has a way to put in auto mode with sound, these things are even better, if you want a break just set a scene that sets the lights to auto and let the lights take care of the party for a while, else just setup another scene/bank/chase with the light sequence you want!

Complicated but works
This was a bit of a challenge to get set up but once we did our 12 year old ran our light show for our performances and did a great job.

Can’t get it to work consistently.
I bought 8 par lights plus a laser system and this to control them. It works fine if I only use 1 par light. If I plug more than one in, (yes I’m using a terminator) my channels for the second light are all over the place. I have little, to no control over the 2nd light. Next I plug in my laser system. Will not work at all!! Can’t get it to do anything. everything is supposed to work with DMX 512. But I can barely use this controller. My advice would be to buy something a bit nicer. Or maybe I just need to reprogram the controller? Maybe if the manual had readable English I would know.

Works just as well as the more expensive versions of the same style
Quality is low overall but you get what you pay for. It does work just as well as the more expensive models of the same exact design, program them the same, just a bit cheaper. I've been using this board for a few months and it does the job. Power cable is short also, about 2 ft.

unit failed on the first job...
it stayed boxed pass the return date... I finally used it March 2024 and it failed. Faders not making contact and causing the lights to not come on... can not return it now. so it will make a nice paper weight... lol

Useful controller, power cable arrived broken.
The plastic portion of the power cable arrived broken. Still powers on but needs to be replaced. Attempted to report via amazon but returning full item was the only option. I only wanted to get a new power cable.

Old school to DMX growing pains
Trying to use the controller with Chauvet 4bar LTBT preprogrammed lighting system which includes four pods within each bar. It is unclear whether or not these units require the termination of the DMX chain or not and there is no direct access to the DMX internal programs with this DMX 192 unit or any other unit that I know of. More of a Chauvet shortfall than the controller really. That's all I have tried the controller with and do not yet have a termination plug. The unit should include one of these plugs if it's a requirement to properly use this or all othersuch DMX controllers with any number of fixtures. It's really a crap shoot operation without the termination at the end of the DMX chain of fixtures..
