Cheaper/ good value
My cat has renal failure without this she wouldn’t be able to digest her food - she is 21 very shortly and still enjoying her life though in a more sedate elderly way. Previously obtained via the vets though found this product ( exactly the same ) much cheaper on the internet - almost half the price

Amazing! Your furry friend will thank you.
Mid November one of my cats was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure and given two months to live. He was very weak, struggled to walk, had little balance and needed to be carried up and down stairs. He had stopped purring but was still eating. I came across this supplement and started giving it to him twice a day together with a potassium supplement and a varied diet (anything to keep him eating). After about three weeks his balance improved, plus weight loss and muscle wasting seems to have stalled. Six weeks in he started to purr and after 10 weeks started chasing his sister around, playing again and looking full of the joys of spring. While I know this is no miracle cure, we have already had an extra month on the initial diagnosis and the Vetoquinol certainly has given him back a quality of life that seemed lacking. I cannot praise the product enough for taking the strain off of his failing kidneys, but still allowing him to eat the foods he loves. Don't hesitate ... try it.

Helped to stop my Pussy Cat pissing uncontrollably
I have a cat diagnosed with CKD. Basically she was pissing everywhere which was very distressing. The Vet recommended to use expensive CKD food which worked great but my cat hated it and lost a load of weight. I heard you out add this to normal food and it helps. So back to normal food with this additive and no more pissy puss. Please seek professional advise I am not a Vet but did do a lot or reading before I went down this route and at the end of the day it was a life quality decision for my 17 year old girl. Good luck with your pussy cat I know what you are going through if you are reading this review.

Some of the white powder seems to be different
This powder in the 300g pot from Germany is very different from the powder in the smaller size 60g size from UK. All the packaging is the same but for some odd reason my cat will NOT touch food when I add the powder from the 300g pot into it . However, by contrast the cat ate all of his food when I added powder from the 60g size pot with powder made in the UK.This isnt great news for me because the small post is near 20 quid while the 300g pot is only 35 quid.I will need to only give him the powder from the small pot 60g which is made in the UK- since my cat seems to know the powder in the 300g pot is slightly different and doesnt work for him.

A friend with a senior dog recommended this, as vets seem to avoid supplements in ...
Just received this today and started giving it to my dog so waiting to see for the results, as he's had some urination instability lately. The downside is that the label is written in German and there are no english instructions, so I had to ask my german-speaking friends to help me sort out the dosage. It seems to be 1 spoon (included) for every 5kg of weight for the animal. A friend with a senior dog recommended this, as vets seem to avoid supplements in general for whatever reason. Hopefully it will help my pooch stop peeing on the carpets..

Best thing for cats with kidney disorders
Throughly recommend this for cats with kidney problems, You just add it to your cats normal cat food, no need for expensive Renal cat food, made massive difference to our 16 year male cat who unfortunately has chronic kidney disorder, won’t cure your cat but will prolong their life without the upheaval of diet / food change , really can’t recommend it enough
