This product came very quick and though it is pricey, it is worth it. We planted several herbs around 3/4 weeks ago, and they have grown alot. It is very quiet, and it is nice that the light has a 12hr+ timer. The planter is super easy to assemble, doesnt take up much space, and has simple directions on how to use. Would purchase again.

I bought this on Prime Day along with a major brand that was on sale for a comparable price. I like that I could use my own seeds vs the other brand that has the seeds already in the pods. Perhaps its the seeds or type of plant but this garden has sprouted a lot faster than the other one. The extra holes are nice, plus how low and extended the lights go. While this doesn't have a sensor to tell you when to change the water and such, it's effective and simple enough without those features. Totally worth the money and no need to spend more on another brand. This is preferred.

The price is fair, the sytem is pretty easy to learn and use. The instructions lack details, which led to confusion. Learning is easy, so after the first crop, I am about to start a second crop, and now it is much easier to get my letttuce and spinach growing. Of course there is nothing like sunlight, so the flavor is not as intense as my out door garden, but it is better and fresher than store bought lettuce, and is available to me year round. I wish the company provided extra sponges. I found a different supplier from a non-Amazon online source for much less expensive sponges. They are due to arrive today.

Unit was simple to set up. However the instructions for use were totally inadequate.There were no instructions on which of the three settings to use or when, nor were there anything saying how often to add the plant food.I had to look elsewhere at other manufacturers sites to discern the frequency to add the plant food and settings to use.Otherwise is a nice unit and was able to start my seeds easily. The timer works great and and my plants are thriving.Update...seller offered $30 Amazon gift card after review was posted, but it is a scam!!! Do not buy from this seller!!!

I searched through the different growing systems and chose this one. I like that I can chose my own seeds to grow. This system is easy to use and set up. I have enjoyed the system, and I am glad I made this purchase. It is nice to be able to grow leafy lettuce and herbs.

The media could not be loaded.  This hydroponic growing system is simple to use. Very easy to put together comes with everything you need to get started excluding the seeds. I used osmosis water along with the plant food included. The pump is very quiet. In a few days the variety of lettuce was already sprouting. Within a week all the herb seeds sprouted. The first few weeks required very little water refills, week 4 snuck up on me when I noticed the unit needed frequent water refills. I will be purchasing another system one for a variety of lettuce which grows faster than the herbs and the other I will use for herbs and edible flowers. The system has been perfect and takes up little space.

I purchased this growing system because there were really good reviews on it and it was significantly cheaper than some of the other hydroponic growing systems that had similar reviews. This one did NOT disappoint! I've successfully grown a round of 12 vegetable and fruit plants from seed (some commercially purchased seed and some seed grown from organic produce). The system takes care of the seeds themselves and there is almost no intervention needed (set it and forget it). The only challenge I've found is from larger seeds like zucchini squash, where it doesn't completely fit in the dirt pod. Aside from that, everything is growing healthy and happy and I just need to find a place to transplant everything now.
