So well packaged- even the styrofoam was wrapped in thin plastic to prevent chafing of the wood.Assembly made so easy with all parts clearly labeled.They included an Allen wrench ratchet! That made it SOOO much easier to assemble and ensure tight joints.While they recommended two people to assemble, I was easily able to build it myself (without the usual frustrations of putting a frame together alone.)Also has a total of 9 legs, which’s makes it sturdy and sag-proof.Highly recommend - especially for the price. Feels like a $400 frame.

I have purchased two of these bed frames, both for queen size mattresses. I was able to assemble both of them on my own, and the only issue I had was the first time I added the wooden slats that hold the mattress- you want to attach them and unroll them a certain way, and if you do that, they fit perfect. I just happened to skim over that part of the instructions first time.This bed frame is very sturdy, and seems like it will be fairly easy to move when the time comes.

Very happy with the purchase. I was skeptical about this bed because of the rather in-expensive cost, but glad I chose it. Everything about the purchase of this bed was simple...ordered it, received it in two days, out of the box and assembled it very quickly! The construction feels solid. I like the height of this platform bed after 12" ZINUS mattress added. My 15 year old grandson assembled the bed in 30 minutes; everything fit together nicely. The included tool needed to assemble the bed is sturdy and there are extra bolts and washers, but we didn't need them.

Omg! I cannot say enough how easy the assembly was.Fantastically engineered!! Dowels and Velcro to hold slat sets in place….One addition to directions I would say keep slat sets rolled up with dowel hole slat on bottom….place that slat first and secure dowels in holethen roll out each slat keeping Velcro smooth and flat betweenI dragged the box upstairs and assembled this bed myself(73yr old gramma) in an hourEach direction was so clear and easy…each connection was precise and sturdy….came with cool little ratchet too!Finished bed is so Beautiful ( Rustic Pine) All hardwood knotty pine!Plus fast delivery and great price….Love it!

I Purchased, the Zinus platform bed several years ago. The bed has had very limited use. My initial impression Indicated that it was well constructed, attractive, had substantial components, and easy to assemble Recently, the bedframe lost its stability. None of the beds leg attachment Bolts were missing or loose. A steel strut connects the front and rear bed frames. It provides stability to the frame on which all the bed slats and mattress rest. It bears the weight of a person occupying it. My initial inspection revealed that both screws securing the strut to the rear frame had become loose and disappeared. The screws on the other side of the strut were also loose. The entire bedframe was out of square and totally compromised. I contacted the seller with multiple emails and telephone calls. I was required to provide information which duplicated some of the sellers previous inquiries. I sensed that the seller was going to give me a.” no” answer to my request. My request involved being provided with two screws to replace those which had been lost. My request to the seller was a no cost option, and” good will” gesture for any customer who made a purchase from them. I was informed that it was their protocol not to provide any assistance, beyond the five-year warranty. Period.. I indicated a willingness to buy the screws from them. Again, no luck. I would expect that they would provide the specifics on the required hardware and where to go to get a replacement part. Again, no luck. Go out into the world and find it on your own. I was providing more information to the sellers representative, than was coming back to me. Conclusion:BUYER BEWARE: the preceding product may appear to be a good value at first as indicated. The seller provides no long-term assistance. Should there be a problem with his product. A Critical component failed during the limited use of this product and compromised its structural integrity. The issue needs to be addressed with a simple low cost fix so that it does not occur againBig Bob

I’m impressed. So many thoughtful design and packaging details tell you they really thought about this product. The instructions are almost Lego clear. The packing stryofoam is plastic-wrapped so you don’t get crumbs everywhere. It's designed so that the metal hardware all ends up hidden inside and you only see lovely wood. They include a very nice Allen rachet wrench for easier tightening and easier reaching into the corners. The hardware is in a shell-pack so you can see that it’s all there—but they still include extras in case you lose some. There’s sturdy padding glued down where metal would otherwise squeak against metal. The wood is cut so that weight is supported by the wood and joinery not the hardware. And the big screws all come with tensioners, something you rarely see on flatpack furniture. I hope Zinus starts making other furniture this good.

The shipping box is very heavy, and I suggest two people place it in the room of choice. Heavy means decent construction and good wood quality. Very easy to put together, the instructions are simple and legible. The quality of the wood is remarkable for the price point. This bed will last a lot longer than any IKEA bed I've owned. Finally something NOT made in Chi^&a.

We purchased this bed in a king size a few years ago and are so pleased that we purchased a queen for our new guest bedroom. The bed is durable, looks amazing and was sooo easy to put together. We coupled it with a Molblly queen mattress ... now we just need guests!

This bed frame was SO easy to put together, took me under an hour to get everything unpacked and put together. The pieces are well labeled, the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces are light but very well made. Some of the features I really liked was the slats that act as the box spring actually velcro to the bed frame so you don't have them moving around or falling through like other beds. This is so smart and defintiley one of the highlights that made me so satisfied with this purchase. On the top of these slats there is two long sticky pads which holds the mattress in place so it doesn't move around either. The bed frame is ridiculously sturdy, I'm talking like not even moving an cm let alone banging against a wall or creaking. I was also really impressed with the quality and colour of the wood. After reading some reviews some said it wasn't true to the picture but I disagree I think it was just what I expected. If you're looking for a wood bedframe wayfair's prices are upwards of 700$ and after comparing nearly every site from jysk, to ikea, to wayfair and overstock this was defintiley the cheapest wood frame for its style. Its lived up to all my expectations and I am so thrilled with it. The only thing I would want someone else to know is that if you have a really thick mattress alot of the headboard will be covered by it.

Came in just one day with everything necessary to assemble it. Is great quality, very sturdy and doesn’t make any noises like other cheaper beads

Not only is it easy to build, but it's so well-organized that it's impossible to mess up! It's so sturdy, and looks great! Really pleasantly surprised by it. It's light years better than any Ikea bedframe you can get. There are little attention to detail points on it that are so nice as well. The velcro to hold down the slats perfectly, the sticky-pads to keep the mattress in place. All really nice.
