CNC'ed from a billet of Al and anodized a very attractive orange, this small, but very useful, precision square strikes me as a very good bargain at the Amazon price ($18 at the time of this review). I will use this precise square in calibrating miter and table saws, though it has many uses. The main other functions useful to me are the center finding feature and the 3 guides used to drill holes perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece. The drill inserts are stainless steel and are nicely finished with knurling on the outer perimeter to increase gription. The square itself is also very nicely machined and anodized in a very even coat of orange. It all comes in a plastic storage box that's more than durable enough for a decade or two of use and should keep all the various pieces organized. My only nit to pick with this otherwise surprisingly nicely crafted tool is that the drill sleeves are larger diameter than optimal for my particular uses. There's an empty slot for another sleeve in the storage box that I wish was filled with a 4'th sleeve for drilling smaller holes at 90 drgreees. Also, not that it matters, but for some reason the storage box forces you to store the tool upside down.All in all a very useful, well executed tool at a very fair price.

A nice to have little square that comes in very handy. Precision made square (dead on squareness inside and out) that is machined perfectly, in my opinion. I checked the squaring surfaces to a machinist square accurate to .001 and could find no deviations. Pretty ingenious threaded bushings that cover several common SAE sizes as well as one bushing that my ultra fine point marker fit perfectly. Bushings were machined loose enough to thread in quickly but still seated precisely. Bushings were also easily inserted and removed without tools. Precision pins were, likewise, machined very well. My only complaint is the anodizing on the square should have been a hard anodizing instead of just a color anodizing to retain the durability of the square over time. I also prefer graduations in .01" increments instead of 1/16's. This square will still be very useful in my shop. Very happy with this kit.

What it is: 2.5” x 4” orange anodized square for centerline marking and drilling as well as 90° angle measurement. It is marked with 1/16” scale on the outer edges. Includes 2 hardened steel pins and 4 threaded steel sleeves: marking sleeve, 1/4” drill, 5/16” drill, 3/8” drill, plastic case.Why I like it: This is a effective square for saw and router table setup, 90° angle measurement, and centerline marking and drilling (with the threaded sleeves). Is compact enough to keep in your toolbox or kit, and a worthwhile addition to your shop.

No instructions came with this. Looking at the product online helps but doesn’t explain everything.It’s very well made and delivered. It’s just difficult to use. There are multiple inserts you can use for the marking. None of which hold the pencil tight and perfectly in the middle.As an edge guide this it very good.

On material approx. 2 1/2" thick or less, (wood or metal) this little jig is great for finding your center mark before drilling. If drilling multiple holes, once you have your spacing laid out, you can bang out center marks with this thing in no time.

Got this as a jig for drilling some dowels. It works as intended and seems very durable. Comes with a nice plastic case for storage and a couple different bit sizes for your center hole. Should last me for many projects.

This is a simple handy tool, good for small measurements, locating and drilling dowels. Mainly it is handy for marking a center line after setting up the jig.

This well-made mini square comes in handy for a lot of shop work from wood working to metal projects and even setting up the shop equipment like table/band/scroll saw drill press etc. Fits in my shop apron plus it comes with a nice carrying case that holds the four sleeves for self-centering or marking. Yes it works with my scroll saw
