Looks really nice, fits in a small space, casts a fairly wide swath of light for reading. Love the adjustable brightness and the touch on/off. Seems like good quality materials. so far so good!

I love these lamps. They are lightweight, easy to assemble, and work very well. I have had one for a number of years in the gold finish. Just ordered another in the silver. I think the finish on the gold one is nicer, but the silver is fine, just not lustrous like the gold. The finish on the gold still looks like new. Even living in the salty Gulf Coast air in Florida didn't bother it.

This lamp is very well made, surprisingly so considering the price. I love how bright and clear the light is from it - I need it for weaving and other craft work. The lamp is very adjustable, making it easy to direct the light where it is needed most. And the touch controls are completely awesome! It turns on/off with a touch and has 3 levels of brightness. I keep turning the light on and off as I walk by, just because it's fun.Shipping was very fast, the packaging was excellent, and the lamp arrive in excellent condition. Assemble was quick and easy, the directions clear. I've seen only minor downsides to the lamp:1. There is no way to adjust the height of the light - all adjustability is in the horizontal plane of the light. This is a minor problem, since it is incredibly, infinitely easy to direct the light where needed.2. My lamp leans ever so slightly if the lamp is extended straight out from the vertical support, in spite of the weighted base, because it is on carpeting. On an uncarpeted floor, it is fine.I like my lamp so much, I am thinking of getting another one! I bought this to replace a florescent craft light that clamped on to the edge of a table - my new light is superior to the old one in every way. Any chance of this company developing a similar desk lamp?

I like this lamp a lot, works great, nice and bright for reading. I have mine setup in the bedroom for nighttime reading, and would like to mention 2 annoyances, which keeps me from giving 5 stars.1) There is a small dim light where the power switch is, obviously so it can been seen in the dark. But in a bedroom, even that dim light casts enough light in the room to be annoying. I need to put a small towel over it at night.2) If there is a power outage, even for a moment (this happens frequently where I am), the light comes back on at full brightness, even if it was turned off. This is certainly annoying at night, but if you're away on vacation perhaps and have an outage, the lamp will be on full brightness when you return.Other than that, great light... I may not recommend it for bedrooms though.

It’s gorgeous, a nice subdued gold finish. Came meticulously packaged. Feels very sturdy, heavy base and very easy to assemble. There are different intensities of light: very bright for tasks, more subdued for ambience. I plan to buy additional lamps from this company. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Wow this lamp is worth the buy! Big time! It is great quality for the price and it feels sturdy/not cheap or flimsy! It has many different positions it can be in and it looks very nice!

This lamp has great light that can be precisely directed--mine sits (lengthwise) directly over a monitor, which makes it both extremely useful functionally and very minimalist in terms of "footprint" in a small office. While I should have posted a review earlier (when I bought it well over year ago) I was prompted to do so now because I recently contacted the seller to ask if there was a replacement transformer chord (the chord that goes up into the lamp is actually two pieces, one transformer-looking end that plugs into the outlet, and then you attach that to the chord that is running vertically up through the lamp itself), as I think wiring may have come loose in mine, causing it to flicker when the chord was bumped (and then not to come on at all). I honestly expected to have to throw away the light (which made me sad actually--it works perfectly in my use case), but was contacted promptly by a Brightech service person who said they'd send me a replacement piece right away ... she followed up soon after to say they were temporarily out of the part, so they would send me a whole new light. EXCUSE ME??!! OMG, UNHEARD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!! She also reminded me that they have a 3 year warranty so if anything goes wrong during that time to PLEASE contact them to have the issue resolved. I almost passed out the service was so impressive (and unexpected). Interestingly, I've also purchased at least 5 strands of Brightech's outdoor solar LED "Edison-style" light strings (for greenhouse and back patio) and I LOVE THEM! I have tried to get exactly this product for years, but they either died quickly or had some other "not yet ready for prime time" solar/LED-related problem. These are my absolute favorites (and I am a hard-to-please individual) and I am thrilled to know Brightech is behind both the floor lamp and the outdoor solar LED string lights ... I will ABSOLUTELY purchase more of their products in the future. GREAT JOB BRIGHTECH!

Honestly some of the reviews seemed a little over the top in terms of enthusiasm, but yes, this lamp is that awesome. I was considering either the silver or the gold, decided on the gold and am glad I did. It's a very subtle, brushed gold, not at all bright or brassy. Love that the bulb has 3 levels of brightness (controlled by tapping the top of the lamp). The pole is in three parts that screw together, but it's not noticeable at all since it's in a back corner of the room. It also stands upright (no leaning) and is very stable. I buy a lot from amazon, and this is definitely among my top purchases. Great lamp.
