Great RC Car, durable and great Support from Hosim
The media could not be loaded. Update !This is my first RC car and I love it. Great RC car for adults and kids and beginners like me. its very fast with 3S batteries, and it does wheelie easily ,check my video , performance and functionality is great also, excellent service from Hosim USA , second time I used it I accidentally broke the from shock because I didn't know how to use the remote, i bought the replacement shocks on Amazon and replaced it then the after a few ride oil of the shock start leaking and I contacted the Hosim by chat and they replied in one hour and they send extra shocks free of charge in 5 days . This Rc car is really fun , I highly recommend it.

Great car would purchase again. Fast
Awesome product. Have gravel lot outside my garage. Medium and larger rocks. Figured something would break in not long and didn’t have high expectations. It definitely had some issues but I wouldn’t necessarily consider them the cars fault. Sliding sideways at 30 MPH in harsh gravel blows the beads of the tires sometimes. Chipped the one plastic wheel a bit too. That chipped rim started spinning inside the tire causing lost traction/acceleration so I cleaned it all with alcohol and siliconed it. It took a good bit of abuse before that happened. The fine silt in the gravel lot was an issue also. After a bit of light rain and wetter driving the non oiled shocks starting binding up a bit and not allowing free movement of the A-arms. The top of the shock tubes are hollow. My fix was to remove all the shocks, unscrew the top caps which have a bit of lock tight on them and them insert some regular red bearing grease into the top tubes of the shocks. As they compress and rebound a light coating of grease gets applied to the lower chrome rod of the shock eliminating the binding caused by the sand/silt mixture. If you were just driving on pavement that binding probably wouldn’t happen to begin with. The front lower of the buggy is covered in bash marks and still holds up fine. Knocked a rear shock off once and just popped it back on. Don’t get me wrong a full speed hard hit into a solid object is going to break something but for the price I think this car has held up really well. I might get several of them so when something does break I can just use the most beat up car as a parts car. It’s very fast. Couldn’t really get much faster and still be controllable. Just purchased a second one for a 11 year old so we will see how that one holds up also lol. Happy with battery life. Would purchase again. Edit: You probably won’t find a better RC car for the price. Some people have bad reviews expecting this would be a 600$ RC car for 140$. I strongly disagree. It’s irritating to see people give it 1 star reviews because it doesn’t have oil shocks or perfect turning or something stupid. It’s understandable though because most people aren’t mechanically inclined so some simple maintenance, adjustments or upgrades seems daunting to some. If that idea seems to much for you to handle this probably isn’t the hobby for you.

Review updates - just buy something else.
** Update **I’ll be asking for a refund on this. I have to tighten wheel nuts multiple times in one 2s run. It will not hold trim. Constantly adjusting. And the way the radio works you have to release the trigger off throttle completely to avoid drag brake. If you reduce throttle it applies drag brake. This makes controlling it on any kind of jump almost impossible. I’m not even listing everything. There are many better options for this price. I’ll report back if the return process is a hassle. DO NOT RECOMMEND.So:Cogging, drag break applied at full speed if you don’t completely release throttle, wheel nuts that loosen within 4-5 min. Blue loctite didn’t work. Erratic delay. This is a good looking truck and not only comes with two hard pack lipos but comes with 2 bodies as well!I do wish the wheels were a solid color. The red doesn’t look so good with the body that has pink on it which is a shame because that body is nice!It has good speed. It will usually ( See next paragraph :/ ) pull nice wheelies, the range is plenty good enough, and it handles well for what it is. It’s a great grab and go or backyard truck for sure and I’ve been having a great time with it.After 5 packs ( 2s ) through it I’ll say that while it is fun - if you are used to higher end RC you’ll feel a noticeable decrease in quality while driving it. The radio is just slow. It can be managed - but it just isn’t great. It also has a drag break that sometimes kicks in strongly while it’s going fast and you release the throttle and sometimes doesn’t.But my main issue is with the radio binding to the truck. I repeat the same startup process every time I turn it on. Follow the directions to a T. Yet the throttle dual rate seems different every time. ????It’s just odd. There is also a lot of competition at this price. Imex with upgraded shocks. Wltoys. Other Amazon brands. So it really needed to stand out and I just don’t think it does.

Lots of fun especially for the price!
I bought this thinking it might be fun, I knew very little about RC cars I just saw a video of this thing and ordered it because it goes fast and it had an affordable price (good logic right?). I love being able to run two batteries in it so I don't have to stop and change them and the run time is great. This car is almost too fast for its size but it handles great and blasts through my lawn wheelies, jumps, and takes a beating. I suggest running it at half power until you are used to it. I did manage to break the spoiler on a bad tumble at full speed but the car still runs great. The best part is all the parts appear to be available and the spoiler is a $10 fix! (It's on its way) which means you can likely keep this car going for a very long time. So unless you want to spend a lot more money, I highly recommend this Hosim 1:16 brushless ton of fun on four wheels! It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. One of these days I will paint the extra body and try out the extra set of sand paddle tires all of which came in the box!
