Great Workbook for Spanish Beginner
I purchased this workbook to use in conjunction with various videos from YouTube and my own background for homeschooling my 9th grader in Spanish Level 1. It was a great resource and used logical progression of skill items. My only complaint is that there is no 2nd book to follow on its heels, which I would have used for Spanish Level 2 next year.

Good reference book for beginner/intermediate
I'm an adult who started practicing Spanish and already had a very basic understanding of the language. I could get by as a tourist in a Spanish speaking country.I've decided to become more fluent and have been using Duo Lingo and this book has been a useful reference for things that might need explanations that Duo Lingo isn't going to give.It has the pronunciation of the alphabet, numbers and fractional/ordinals, telling time, little games and a glossary and answer key in the back. The pages are perforated and easy to photocopy if you want multiple chances to practice without using up the page on the first try.Good book!

Five stars for what it is
Pros-has logical progression of information, well organized-the spanish level is more advanced than most other workbooks available on amazon (from what I've experienced)-Provides sentence and grammar practice-Instructions are provided in english-It has a clear, concise answer key-It provides brief but understandable explanation of verb conjugations accompanied by charts and practice- The lessons are quickCons-the book is entirely in black and white-it does not offer any help with pronunciation of spanish words in any way-It does not provide cultural enrichment of the language taught-The format isn't dry, but it's not really fun either. A bit bland.-Although the spanish is advanced compared to other books, it's still very basic spanish sentence formations and vocabulary.

Good extra practice but has mistakes
I am a veteran Spanish teacher and am currently using this book to tutor a rising Spanish 2 student over the summer. I like that it includes so many topics and the practice is fine and easy to build upon as needed. However, there are a lot of mistakes that are common for English speakers to make. They need a better editor! I have only worked through a little over half of the book so far, but I’m including some photos with the corrections I have made for my student that show some of these mistakes. I recommend using caution when using this book as it isn’t quite all right. Plus, it often uses more English vocabulary than traditional Spanish words- like “los shorts” instead of “los pantalones cortos.”

Excellent workbook
This book is fantastic! I've been working with my kids (ages 6 & 8) all semester on Spanish and I think this book will be a good next step. It would've honestly been a good starting book even. I had to pull from all kinds of books to teach them what this book has outlined.
