Very pleased with this lamp. I do not have shedding with it like others have mentioned but the packaging was not fun to deal with... bad Styrofoam.The color of the shade in the photos looked similar to the lamp itself to me bit it is not. It's a light tan color. Turned out fine for me but maybe not what others want so mentioning it.

Trash! Don’t buy! Looks nothing like the picture. And when I opened the package, it made such a huge mess! The vase part isn’t coated so the little particles will keep falling off just by moving or touching it! The vase doesn’t look white. It has a pink undertone! Catfished major

I kept this but it sheds bits of pottery every time you set it down. I should have read the reviews more closely.

I find the texture of the lamp base to be odd. From a distance this is an attractive lamp so I will keep it. I like that the base color does appear to be a pink/red typical terracotta color with whitewash paint and flocking on top, so it has a rustic or distressed effect. I do like that.The photo seemed to show the base with textured lines. However, there is a "christmas tree flocking" on top of the whitewashed terracotta that even reminds me of popcorn ceilings. Don't know why they did this.Reading reviews, I am one of the lucky ones. The flocking is not shedding off my lamp.The lighter/white/beige shade comes assembled and the packaging is very good for safe delivery. Switch is only one- way, and I can see the shade would "melt" if you use too large a wattage so use manufacturer's advice.Overall, a pretty lamp if you can get past the flocking.

Good medium size lamp - I love the texture of the base which is a nice neutral cream color with a slight orange terracotta undertone. Note there was some shedding from the base when I first opened but I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and no issues after I wiped it off with a damp cloth. Recommend for farmhouse/coastal decor.

The lamp is nice and the shade also but it came without the detachable harp that holds up the lamp shade and it didn’t come with the finial emailed the company I bought it from about the missing parts was told I had to contact the manufacturer company

Very happy with my purchase. Very unique textured base. So attractive. Has a pinkish hue to it. I may buy another one. Packed well and arrived undamaged.
