I purchased and installed this 5 years ago. I installed a HUE LED strip inside and it looks amazing as you can see it on the picture. Very nice material, great product for the price. A few days ago I had to fix the LED strip inside and the mounting brackets broke when I tried to remove the cover (those are from plastic). I wrote to the seller about where can I order additional mounts, and they sent new ones immediately, so I cannot complain about it. Be careful how to remove the aluminum rail when you are servicing it so you don't end up braking the mounting brackets as I did...

**updated review of the below. The seller rectified the order by providing a replacement of the missing & miscut pieces. While they do not yet have a connector to easily run more than one length of extrusion, my project's coming together well (photos to come) & they did indicate that longer extrusions may be available in the future. Updated from 2 to 5 starsSeemed like a perfect solution for my led light strips, but came missing a diffuser cover for one of the sections & the ends were not cut square. Poor quality control. Additionally, the sections should include/offer a joining piece to create a more seemless length beyond 1m

Looks great on the walls of a room where the walls angle at 45 degrees part way up. Was easy to cut to fit with a miter saw and only wish I had some proper connectors for matching them up better. Note if your wall is bowed then they can be a pain to put up but that is less an issue with the product and more the wall.

First, I should have paid better attention to the install instructions, with 25 years of selling or installing electrical fixtures I should have heard the bell ringing. These wall washer channels are useless and expensive. For down lightning mounted low a V shaped channel would work and be cheaper. Won't work at all if mounted high for down light. For up lightning the shield is facing down should be facing up like a reflector when mounted It looks like some ugly molding but does hide the LED's. The photos of some installations shown are miss leading at best. Either somebody with no experience in fixture design or the die maker read the specifications wrong. Channel should be inside the reflecting shield meaning the plastic cover facing in the down position, also plastic clips don't cut it.

Well engineered love the softer plastic diffuser, less likely to break on removal when replacing LEDs in the far future.

We used these in our dark closet so that we have light shining down on my shoes. I love that the LED strip lights are protected from our clothes, it's more safe, and that the light shines down where it's needed instead of in our eyes. The installation clips are PLASTIC and it would have been nice if they included an extra couple more in the kit. The screws for the brackets are awfully short, so we used our own. We broke 2 plastic brackets trying to snap the channel in. The diffusion covers are a bit tricky to align to slide in and/or tough to snap in. Probably don't need them since we were using the channels for downward light but a little patience and they are in. I feel like we missed the boat on how to install corners, we just extended the diffusion covers a little over the edge to protect the corners. The final product looks very nice and I'm not worried about a fire in the closet so it's a win! These channels also worked out great along the closet door to shine on my necklaces!Note: In the pictures you can see we used a combination of these and the U-shaped channels (LL-007-M) and Minger strip lights (B07JQPVKPC).

Only received the channels and diffuser - nothing else to help mount

I've got Alexa running these for night lights for the Codger, so he can see in the wee hours when shuffling to the bathroom. Saves wear (and tear) on the light switches
