I have always hated the idea of battery candles but got nervous about all my real candles that I love. The cat"s tail, papers in the wind, forgetfulness about extinguishing etc. I can't believe how great these are. I forget they are fake and jump about it being too close to flammable items. They really do give the ambiance of real candles because of the color and movement. They are pricey but will probably last a long time. The bark has a waxy coating and the matte wax look makes these more real too. The timer function is an added bonus. Beautiful candlelight goes on and off without thinking about it.

Have the setting for just a few hours on every night and it automatically turns off after. The flame is so realistic!! My mom always thinks I have a real candle lit when this is on. Better than other versions I've seen. The candle not only flickers light but the 'flame' moves as well, providing a convincing candle experience without the use of fire! Also I love the real birch bark design. Did not come with a remote control, but just as easy to turn on and off on the candle itself.

I put my candle in a glass pillar with a wreath. It is absolutely stunning. I’ve had comments on it from people who have visited me. A little on the expensive side, but I’m expecting this to last me for years to come.

If you’re looking for a great flameless candle, this is real pretty. The natural exterior really looks stunning in my selected candleholders. Can be very modern or very rustic.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Luminara candles. I own many but the Birch line are my favorites. This 4”x5” Birch candle takes two D batteries and is an absolute stunning candle. They also have a 4”x7” size which I am tempted to buy as well. With Real Wrapped Birch, every candle will be different and may not look as pictured. I have included pictures of both the front and back of my candle showing the Birch Bark I received as well as the back seam wrap line. Also to give some perspective, I have included a photo showing my smaller 3.5”x4.5” Birch Luminara candles. The smaller one on the left takes 2 AA batteries, and the one on the right takes 2 C batteries. You can see how the Birch is different on all but all work well together. Highly recommend getting the remote too!

We own several Luminara flameless wax pillar candles. They’re the highest quality on the market. We have also given them as gifts. This stunning birch bark candle was a gift for my mother-in-law and she loves it. We’re thinking about buying another for ourselves.
