I purchased this Beurer EM44 TENS unit after receiving muscle stimulator treatment at my chiropractor's office and wanted to continue with some treatment on my own. I suffer from lower back issues and this electrical stimulation really helps relieve some of the tension in the muscles. I have used my new TENS product every day since receiving it a few days ago and I feel it comes pretty close to the one they use in the Dr's office. So far I have only used it at the level 7 intensity and can feel some relief. And you can dial it clear up to 50! The instruction book is very intuitive (and appreciated). It was easy to understand and didn't take all day to read through and figure things out. The product quality is impressive for the price and the size is small enough that I can take it with me when I go on vacation. I am really excited with this purchase and will also be using it on fatigued muscles in the near future. To be prepared, I also purchased extra snap on pads, but the ones that come with the Unit should last for quite awhile. But this will also be helpful if my husband needs to use the Unit, so that he will have his own pads to use for it.

My periods are very painful.I have an active job.I can't just take off 2 days per month to stay in bed with a heating pad, taking pain killers that destroy my stomach.After seeing an ad on social media for a TENS device, I went to Amazon.I wanted something that would hide under my clothes, and I didn't want to spend too much on it in case it didn't work, and this one fit those two requirements.Plus it has heat, which helps anyway, and I wouldn't have to keep buying those adhesive heating pads because my skin doesn't really like adhesive and they fall off easily, plus they're pretty wasteful.(It's not great to have to decide between being in pain or being itchy.)This device actually works!The tingling took some getting used to, but it really did take away the pain, and lasted even after the device shut off.The heat was really nice.Yes, I still had to take Tylenol, but that's easy on my stomach.I was able to work without being completely miserable, either in pain or extremely nauseated.I just wish the battery lasted a little longer, and that you could shut off the beeping.I really have no complaints for this device.It's inexpensive, it works, it hides under my clothes, has heat, and actually stays stuck to my skin.I've recommended this to a friend, and I think I'm going to purchase a second one so I can always have one fully charged and ready to go.

I am pleased to say that the shipment of this product was fast, it arrived in 2 days and it said for 5 days. It also arrived in perfect condition for a Locker - Garnet.I am disappointed that it does not work with both TENS and EMS functions as the publication says, it made me want to return it just for that.However, I just used it on my lower back and am happy to have less pain. Before, it was difficult for me to move and after two sections the pain has decreased a lot.Very pleased to have purchased this product. The material looks resistant, the connectors are quite long, very easy and comfortable to use, as are the pads. I liked the illustrations that guide you how to place the electrodes on the different parts of the body, their explanation is very complete and simple. The screen shows just what is necessary, very good digital illustration. The only thing that seemed strange to me is that the equipment does not turn off completely, it always leaves the image of the human body in view of the screen and I wonder if that is normal and consumes battery in the long run.I will continue to use it until the pain is completely gone.

I debated purchasing this due to the higher price, but it is well worth it! I use it on my lower back as well, and love the ease of use since it is rechargeable. Wish I had purchased sooner!

I am typically not someone to leave reviews - but this is REALLY, REALLY BAD! This item seemed promising at first. It worked fine for about a week. I was thrilled because my period cramps are extremely painful and this device eased some of the pain. However, it quickly stopped working, starting with the buttons flashing orange and a beeping noise about 20 times, then would turn off. I am under the impression that this is a sign of low battery level, but in this case, I could charge it for hours upon hours and it STILL WOULD NOT COME ON. Now, it won’t light up at all and is completely dead no matter how long it sits on the charger. Mind you, I returned one of these devices a couple months ago because it stopped working, and got a new one in the mail, but the new one doesn’t work either, and now I am past my return date. I am very disappointed, especially considering this item was not necessarily cheap. I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE!

I have debilitating endometriosis flares and I want to avoid taking too much pain medication. A doctor recommended I try TENS. I had low expectations, but this really worked immediately. It feels like the combination of heat and TENS keeps your pain receptors distracted, and you can carry on with whatever you need to do. It's easy to use and the battery life seems very reasonable. Highly recommend it!
