Good, varied review without intimidation
This was included with the other presents I gave my 12-year-old granddaughter for her birthday. It is not intimidating or boring - lots of varied approaches to the basic concepts - even includes some stickers. I'm hoping it will serve as a good review of what she has already "studied" and serve to further reinforce some of the basics.

Decent
The workbook did cover aspects that are in an algebra I class and are explained pretty thoroughly. However look out for typos in the answer key. One was in chapter 2 and after some research I think it is an error. Overall it’s a good workbook.

Great Source to Practice Algebra
For its cost, it is a great source to practice the knowledge. The book follows its table of contents. There are review of important terms, problem examples, and a few pages of practice problems for each topic. At the end of the book, there is a link and QR code to download the answer sheet, which is very convenient if a child is not responsible enough to avoid cheating))) My child loved to work with this book and found it very useful for repetition and reinforcement of the knowledge in algebra topics.

Workbook with guided practice examples
Fair workbook. Covers algebraic expressions, absolute values, scientific notation, quadratic equations and systems of linear equations. In the beginning of each chapter there is a page with topic explanation followed by a guided practice (about 5 problems solved and explained).Lots of practice problems. Has an answer key. Nice white paper.
