I installed these fans on my metal laptop stand and tell you what if you go through the trouble to fit it in the stand it can do better job than any laptop cooling stand even better than the laptop cooling stand this brand is providing for around 2500. It is loud at full speed very loud but it the airflow is so strong it cools the laptop in an instant it’s actually insane the amount of performance gain i achieved with this fans. Temp dropped by 10-15 degree’s.If you don’t know gaming laptop have a throttle temp set, for example my laptop’s throttle temp is around 85 degrees so if say rdr2 reaches a temp of 85 my laptop will try to keep temp between 85-90 by lowering the performance(40 fps), now after installing the fans temp still goes to 82-83 degrees for rdr2 in max settings but this time the performance is increased, from 40 fps to 70+fps( constant 60 fps if you cap it to 60).My laptop got 6gb 1660ti gtx and from what I’ve seen even 6b 3060 rtx (without external fans) have a hard time getting 60 fps in max settings for rdr2 so you can guess how much of a difference it makes
