Works great
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to help cool my attic which in Texas during the summer can get 140° and higher. I have a solar powered roof vent that only works when sunlight is directly over it which did absolutely nothing. This was an easy install, just had my attic insulated and with this added it moves the hot air out and has been extremely affective. Doesn’t consume much power and you can set the temperature controller to whatever temp you want, mine is at 90°. It moves a lot of air and is fairly quiet.

"Whole house fan," DIY...
Great shuttered fan! The controller that comes with it is very useful and easy to work with. I bought this fan on sale, cut/used a piece of plywood and the existing opening/hatch for my attic to build a "whole house fan" for about $100. In summer months, it gets up to 114 degrees where we live (no humidity though) and so being able to fill the house and the attic with fresh cool air before dawn is a huge money saver on our AC/power. This fan moves plenty of air so opening windows downstairs and turning this fan to high power does all of that cooling work cheaply and in minutes. The shutter opens and closes easily even though the fan is mounted horizontally. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Easy to install and works great
The Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan was incredibly easy to install, and I was able to get it up and running without much hassle. The clear instructions made the process straightforward, and the fan fit perfectly into the space. One thing to note, though, is that you’ll need to have an outlet nearby in the installation area, as it doesn’t come with a very long cord. I was fortunate to have an outlet within reach, but if you don’t, it’s something to plan for ahead of time.Once installed, the difference in my attic temperature was remarkable. Before, the attic was always unbearably hot, especially during the summer, but this fan has made a huge improvement. It helps circulate the air and keeps the attic at a much more manageable temperature, preventing that excessive heat buildup. I’ve noticed a significant drop in temperature, which has also helped reduce the strain on the house's AC system.Overall, this exhaust fan has been a great addition to the house. It was easy to install, works effectively, and has made a noticeable difference in the comfort and airflow of the attic. Highly recommended for anyone needing better ventilation in a hot space!

seems to work ok. don't close all the way to keep out bugs and varmints.
easy to install and wire up. only downside I'm seeing right now is the louvers don't close all the way when the fan shuts off. added some lube spray, no change. put a magnets on both sides so they would stick on the aluminum for added weight hoping that would help it close, helped a bit but still a 1/4 inch liking being closed. I will probably build a screen box around it to keep out the bugs I reckon.

Good quality
I purchased this attic fan exhaust and it works very good, and is very quiet. Help a lot to removed heat from attic. And is very easy to install, I did it my self.

Working great in my shop
This fan was easy to install and is working great in my shop. It helps to keep the most oppressive heat from building up. This summer in Texas has been especially hot. While it won’t cool it quite down to ambient, it makes a huge difference in the shop temperature. I’d say 8-12 degree difference. Your mileage will vary based on area size and conditions. I have a 30x40 shop with 14’ walls. I probably should have gone up to the next size but I’m happy with the noise level. It’s really not bad at all. The adjustable thermostat was a must for me as I didn’t want to run the fan nonstop or have to remember to turn it off.
