Like all sonof items works and does the jobSurprised no connection for earth, especially as this can handle 16amps. Had to connect earth externally

Had it up and running on EWElink after a couple of tries. It works but it's hazards should be very carefully considered before using in the manner suggested in the listing.The terminals are screw down which provide a better connection than many similar switches.The terminals are exposed, the cover can be clicked off and could easily be accessed by a young child. There is no earth so electrocution without RCD protection is more likely.The cable is not clamped so could be pulled out exposing live wires.There is no earth terminal so it can only be used for class 2 (unearthed) equipment without external terminals. There is no class 2 indication on the device so there is no assurance it is safe to use without an earth.Therefore: This item should not be used in any location where it can be accessed by children, where the cable could be dislodged or where there is contamination risk from water or moisture (certainly not for fish tank control as suggested).The description talks about RF control over 433mhz. This does not appear to be available and is not mentioned in the manual so there is no way to set it up even if a remote could be found. (I guess this is what "without included" means.)The description mentions remote control and RF remote. This is not included, only app control over ewelink is available.The description states that it can be controlled over 2/3/4G network. This is not true (although ewelink will work with any internet connection.)The description also states that the device can be set up over a 2/3/4G mobile network. This is not true. note that your phone cant be connected to 5G wifi during setup, connect to the same 2.4G wifi.

I purchased this to monitor the water temperature in a farm pond. The unit does the job with no frills like a display to go bad, and I am able to read the temperature with the eWeLink app as well as their API.The temperature probe is digital and connects to the unit with 3 ft. long a standard (3.5mm) 1/8th inch stereo audio cable. I purchased a 25 ft. stereo extension cable for my application and just plugged it in with a little electrical tape wrapping to make the joint secure. It was then pulled through an existing PVC conduit and made to hang a few inches submerged in the pond. There is probably a physical limit on the length of cable one could use between the probe and the unit due to voltage drop, but at 25 ft. I am experiencing no problems.We shall see how long it holds up out in the wild but so far it appears to be an economical way to monitor the pond water.

Ce produit est fonctionnelle, MAIS ces une honte dans Ewelink pas de réglage thermostat,DANS UN SOUS MENU EN AUTOMATIQUE EN CRÉANT UNE SCÈNE JUSTE LA possibilité DE RÉGLÉ hystérésis UNE VALEUR BASSE POUR LE DÉCLENCHEMENT ET UNE VALEUR HAUTE POUR L'EXTINCTION on sa s’attend a un minimum une consigne admettons 21°c et un réglage basse et haute en %.ces pas utilisable au quotidien ces honteux, la responsabilité incombe au fabriquant. surtout que sur les images du dis produit, on voie la possibilité de faire ce réglage. ça vaut 15 euros au vue de la config.
