i haven't bought a curling iron in a long time and I was so happy with this purchase! I have very coarse, thick, Hispanic hair and this works so well. It's also really pretty, aesthetically pleasing.

The handle is very long; it's a detriment sometimes. Also, my hair slips out of the clamp during curling and I have medium length hair...it shouldn't do that and I don't know how to tighten down. It comes with a dial to choose the heat you want and it does heat quickly. Also, a heat protective glove, 2 clips and hair bands. Nice touch.

I've tried to find an extra long barrel on curling irons since my hair is waist-length, and they aren't that easy to find. However, this one has a great long barrel - and the most important thing - the power switch is in a great place where I don't accidentally turn it off while I'm using it! AND - it's affordable!I love the slim handle, which is easy to grip. The power cord has a swivel on it, so it doesn't get tangled - even while using it with an extension cord. The digital display is easy to read, easy to set, and it heats up within a minute. Overall, this is a great curling iron - I bought the 1" barrel size - but I'm sure it's great in any size. Definitely a "must-buy"! What a great price point!

This curling iron was larger than expected, probably bigger than 2inches.Which I didn’t mind.However, the clasp did not feel tight enough. My hair slipped through between the barrel and the outer part, without even having to press the clasp to open. I could just pull my hair through like a straightener almost. It is not ideal when I like to have control and curl with pull and tension, the top down.Also it got so hot. My hair was smoking even though I did not set the temperature any higher than my other curling irons or flat irons. I don’t trust the temperature.I will be returning

I use this all the time! I have super long and thick hair and this curling iron does a great job!

For those who want almost straight hair with shine.

If you're a hairdresser getting this for work, I'd recommend to keep looking. The end of this iron gets hot. There's a glove included but I personally can't do hair wearing that glove. Also the barrel isn't real smooth, the hair doesn't slide. It has a digital read out for the temp...I liked that, heated up really quick.
