Best jarred beets I have ever had. The beets are firm, not mushy and have wonder flavor.Seasoned perfectly. Very good quality and very fair price.

Good flavor
The flavor is good. The beets could be cooked a little more, they are on the tough side. They shouldn't be mushy or extremely soft but there but they should cut easily with your fork and not hard when you bite into them. Also, it comes as a two pack. The first jar was full of beets. The second is mostly juice. Expensive for the quality.

Did they cook these at all or just stuff them in pickling juice and screw the top on?Rubbery at *very best*. VERY disappointing. Requires a reasonably sharp knife to cut. can hack through with a standard dinner knife. NOT fork cut able :-( :-(Going to try cooking them enough to make them eatable or save the juice to pickle eggs in.Sigh....
