My dog doesn’t use it. I gave it 3 stars because the board is huge, but the scratch paper is small. They give you extras.

So helpful for fearful pups
My puppy is fearful/aggressive whenever anyone tries to clip his nails, and now he thinks nail filing is just a game! He loves it and it’s helped so much with his long sharp nails. Would recommend for anyone with a dog that refuses nail trimmings.

Dog Not Interested
She always comes up to me and scratches at my thighs when I'm standing, so I assumed she would easily adapt if I put the board over my lap. Nope. She hated it. Won't even go near it. Oh well.

Did not work with my dog.
My Pomeranian did not like using this, I was not able to file her nails.

I have a 5 months old boxer with sharp nail he was scared at first, then i gave him a slice of peperoni and then stuck 3 on the back of the board and with in 10 minutes his front nails where done i hope this helps.

Does not work for a large dog nails
My boxer’s nails did not get filed by this product :( He scratched the coating off the paper, nails did not change.

Nice scratch pad
The quality and function of this scratch pad are great. It is easy to use, you just need to train your dog on it first. I have not replaced the sandpaper yet so I can't say how easy that is but otherwise I am happy with the purchase. It's a good value for the price.
