Yes, the lamp is smaller but the dimensions are in the description so whose fault is it for being surprised if the lamp shows up smaller than expected. It is small in general for a lamp but I love it. It’s perfect for each side of my bed for each night stand and keeps the room lit up with a warm touch not too bright. With it being smaller it gives me room on my night stands and I love the blue color. It’s simple, not too expensive and works just like any other lamp I've had. You just cant please everyone (especially for how cheap it is). No complaints.

I love this lamp, the reason I love it is the size and it’s a simple design that looks nice and is available in different colors. Keep in mind to use a small candelabra bulb, the one I used is a 15 watt equivalent in daylight.

I ordered this cute lamp in white. It is a mini lamp, & is really small, which is what I wanted. The problem is that the light that was recommended is too tall & sticks out of the top of the shade. If you order this lamp, don’t order the bulb that is recommended!

This lamp is so tiny but for what I wanted it for it is perfect size wise as it is for a very small space. The shade is so thin that the shadow of the brackets inside holding the bulb show through. As noted in other reviews be sure you have the appropriate bulb (we did because I did read the details and it clearly states it). Even so, my husband and I aren't idiots but we placed the bulb in and the shade and the shade wobbled all over the place. The bulb also showed up over the shade. Was getting ready to send it back then read some of the Questions here and discovered there is a socket holder at the base that we didn't realize had to screw in. Why it wasn't situated on the base in proper position for packing I have no idea. Again, maybe we aren't as sharp as we thought we were and should have realized this but judging from the many comments about how unsteady it is, I am thinking lots of others didn't know either. Anyway, once we figured that out it is stable and ok. Like I said we have a use for it that doesn't require anything more than this offers.

But for real - read the dimensions. It makes me sad to see people knocking stars off of this adorable little lamp because it's "too small". The dimensions of it are very clear and yes, it is so much smaller than any lamp you'll find in your local department or box store. But that's exactly what makes this lamp AWESOME.This lamp basically fits in the palm of your hand and it is absolutely precious. No, it won't light up a room but if you're into some moody, atmospheric lighting - look no further. I, personally, love the size. I think it firts perfectly on smaller, open shelves or in a dark little corner that you'd like to have some light every once in a while.I do think it's valued for its quality. It is light and feels relatively cheap in your hand but honestly, it is quite affordable so I don't have any qualms with it.The size alone sells it for me. Do note: you need a specific bulb that you most likely don't have lying around your house so but sure to add that to your cart, too.

These lamps have to be placed perfectly or they will fall over. Any movement causes them to fall over. There isn't enough weight in the base to hold them down. This is especially a problem since the on/off switch is on the cord. They're really cute, but I had to return them.

Exactly what I wanted. It is a *very* small lamp I could put a low watt bulb in and use as a night light so I wouldn't trip over the dogs in the dark if I had to get up and "powder my nose" at 2AM. For potential purchasers, be aware that this is a *very* small lamp - not the size you would put on an end table or even bed side table. As I stated, more of a size you'd use to illuminate a small, dark corner of the house or use as a night light in a hallway. I have read some complaints about not knowing what sort of bulb to put in it: SIMPLE SOLUTION - you need to get a "candelabra" type bulb, readily available at any Walmart. I bought an LED candelabra bulb for mine, it is 60 watts of light for 6 watts of power. As it is LED it will probably still be working when I am long gone. You just screw it right into the center where the bulb normally goes on any lamp. Works great.

I'm very pleased with this small lamp, fits perfectly for the purpose, used more like a night light. Color was good. You can't beat the price.
