Versatile small vice.
Multi-Angle Bench Vice.Supplied in a Model Craft Collection box, which states:For holding and manoeuvring objects to the most accessible angle.Jaw width 75mm,Jaw capacity 55mm (without rubber jaws),Jaw capacity 50mm (with rubber jaws),Head rotation 360 degrees,Tilt positions 0-90 degrees,Overall height above the work surface 155mmFor benches up to 55mm in thickness.Made from die-cast aluminium and nickel-plated steel. The underside of the box credits the vice to Shesto Ltd., GB Watford, WD18 9RS and quotes the modelcraftcollection web address. The vice jaws have protective rubber covers which are removable. The jaws' clamping area (with covers fitted) is about 77x17mm.Total object height with vice angled upright and bench screw-clamp fully open is around 315mm.For the money, the vice appears surprisingly both well made and well finished. All components other than the removable rubber vice jaw covers, and the bench protector, are metal. The majority of the metal surfaces have a dark silver paint finish. The screw-clamp secures the vice to the bench adequately, and the vice jaws secure the work well. The ball joint is slightly stiff to move but does allow the vice to be rotated, tilted, and locked into position.Providing good value for money, the Multi-Angle Bench Vice is a versatile, good quality little vice (when used appropriately).Ideal for the modeller and hobbyist, and for some smaller DIY projects where a third hand is needed.

Really brilliant
The quality and build of this bench vice is excellent. I use it for my needle felting and it holds my models firmly without damaging them. Having the ball to allow an angle on the vice is so easy to use. This also clamps nicely onto my desk that has a metal frame under to top. I don't know how I managed without it for so long

Great angles
I bought this as most probably do, for craft work. I do mostly wood craft and this hold the wood in carving or cutting perfectly. Being able to move it to whatever angle you want makes a huge difference too. It wasn’t expensive either but it was definitely great value and feels like it should last.

Versatile and feels well built
Only 765grams (must be aluminium) and feels well made. You can see it fitted ok the Stanley fatmax foldable bench. Definitely for DIY and light work. Time will tell :)

Perfect hobby vice
Terrific hobby vice. I can position out however I need, and it grips firmly, but with rubber pads so my model isn't damaged. Really pleased with this purchase.
