This was surprisingly better than expected quality. (I've done quite a number of these build them yourself products ranging from horrible to fantastic) This is not quite to the superior level of a 5, but the quality is definitely worth the time for what this does.It was WELL packed, arrived undamaged, and was easy to put together. There was one extra screw in case you lost one while putting it together. I find that the feet are not exactly necessary when using on carpet (or maybe they are and I don't realize it since I did install them, but I'm sure they are great for hard floors. The reason I think not so much for carpeting is they will be leaving 4 little round feet imprints on my carpet, but eh, that's minor).The one thing that doesn't really mesh with the rest of the quality is the "treads" they send for non-slip. They are just little rubber pieces that stick down. They won't last, but meh. I'll replace them when that happens. Since this was purchased for a pet to reach a higher bed, those treads will last even less, as he wants to eat them, oops! hahOverall, a nice quality for the price-point.

The step stool was very easy to assemble, all pieces clearly labeled and lined up properly with pre-drilled holes. The tool included is all you need to complete the process, but if you have a good allen set ust it instead. Once assembled, the lower section slides easily, secures with thumb screws when stored. In use it is strong and sturdy, but the bottom will slide on tile or wood flooring. If those areas will be the main use, some non-slip material should be applied there. My use is mainly on carpeted areas and outdoor walks/driveway and I use it as it comes.

Easy to assemble and very nice.

Doesn’t look like the photos. Every part was white when there should have been black bars. But it does the job in my salon. Not too big so it doesn’t take up too much space and is easy to put together. Very stable and I don’t have to worry about someone falling.

This was worth the value. It is very sturdy and not bulky at all!

Excellent product, easy assembly and arrived exactly as advertised.

I was standing on the bottom step and the stool flipped over. My three year old was on the top step and the stool started tipping. She would have flipped off if I hadn't stepped on the bottom step to hold it down.

These steps look good, but they're unstable. They can tip easily in either direction. I will be returning these steps.
