good buy
works excellent when attached to a drill. Dipped chicken in 140 deg. water for 30 seconds and feather flew off. It is delicate enough for quail, took feathers off and didnt rip skin.

Works Good, Removes Small Hairy Feathers
Good quality, price, and effective. Especially Good for hairy feathers. Did birds in 180F deg and easily pluck large feathers. Tool works good!

Gets feathers out
It worked well to get feathers out. It needs a shield of some sort to keep those feathers from flying in your face. Lots of feathers in your face.

Do not buy.
Don't buy this. 1) Its not the standard 3/4" fingers, 2) its not assembled, 3) the drive shaft is literally a bolt, 4) the bolt is not centered on the plate its attached to 5) the bolt has no nut on it, so it will walk loose. You can literally make better for less than the purchase price with some fingers and PVC pipe.

I'm sure I will get my money's worth.
I bought this To defletch, quill, but it seems the fingers our little stiff. Quail have very thin skin and it tears easy, so I planned to use it on my chickens next harvest.

Value for the money and easy to use
It came with the rubber fingers uninstall but took less than a minute to install. Super easy to clean just rinse it with hose and soap and move one. We did 3 birds back to back and no signs of damage to bird skin or to the tool. The size of it its pretty compact can store it away easily without taking to much space. I would def recomemmeded it to friend and others once bird was scalded it took maybe a minute or less to de feather def worth the money

Barely gives a pluck.
It doesn’t grip the feathers well, unless it’s the very fine little feathers, which just fly all over the place and make a mess. Honestly, plucking by hand would be less effort. 2 stars because it looks nice.

Works Great!
Works surprisingly well! I almost found that it worked too well with my electric drill. I will try it with battery drill next time. It is a great option of you only have to pluck a couple of birds and don't need the big plucker.
