The instructions are awful but read them over again and watch any video on you tube that is outsunny awning assembly related and you can see what to do. Most of the videos are for manual not electric awnings. Buy at lowes or home depot thick lag bolts if connecting to wood siding. Its important to secure the three awning mounts to the side of your house properly. You will need another person for the next steps of assembly... Assemble the canvas awning to the frame by sliding the front and back of the canvas at the same time and then manually roll the awning to the frame. Hang the rolled awning to the 3 mounts and then secure each mount with the bolt and nut provided. This prevents the frame from falling off the mounts. Electric roll up and roll out is the way to go as manually rolling up takes time. Can`t beat the price

This is a great product. It installed and worked exactly as advertised. Please note that this is a complicated piece of hardware that comes with many pieces and parts. If you are impatient, you probably should have a professional install a system for 10 times the cost. You have to slow down, carefully read the instructions, get a helper, and slowly install this. The main assembly comes in 2 halves that must be carefully coupled together with the included couplers (hidden inside the 3 tubes). I spent about 3 hours getting this built and installed into place. The directions are simple but easy to understand. There are lots of good pictures. The wording is not always good english but they are clear. The hardware included concrete bolts for connecting to brick but nothing for connecting to a timber house. I bought 4 heavy timberlock screws that worked great. Once installed, carefully read the learning instructions for the remote controller - it will save you some angst. The remote will not work until it is synced and adjusted for your awning. I am very pleased with this product and the shade that it provides.

Awning arrived with no issues. Directions are horrible. I’m relatively handy and it was still somewhat difficult. Directions are no help at all. Missing plastics tube cover ( where skirt slips into tube)Contacted seller. Their response was they don’t have the piece and offered 60$ credit to forget the piece. Pushed for $100 they offered $80. I just want my partI don’t recommend

Roller broke the first time we rolled it up and broke away from house almost hitting two people as the roller fell. They want to charge me $65 to return their garbage product.
