Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked these owls because of the swiveling heads. They do not swivel on their own but seem to be doing the job with keeping the birds out. Main reason for getting them.

These look great and will keep the birds away. The only reason I will not give it 5 stars is the head does turn as easy. I put it out and the head has not turned at all.

I had squirrels getting under my house thru my AC unit. I purchased 2 of these and put one under the house and one on top of the AC unit. That took care of the problem. Make sure you fill them with sand or rocks so the don't blow over. Also they came with a couple of round plastic disks that I have no idea what the are for. And there were no instructions.

These are ok, they keep the birds away (mostly) but make sure you keep moving them around or the birds will know they are fake. They also have heads that are suppose to move but mine don't. you can move them but the wind will not move the heads around. If they did move then the birds would definitely stay away.

We bought two and I should’ve taken a picture of how close geese got to the owls. They had zero impact. The heads turn if you tap them but no matter how much wind there is- the heads do not move. I’m not sure it would’ve mattered to put geese though. I’d return them if I could. For now they just sit there for decorative purposes I guess.

Perches easily on slanted roof top over patio by using an 8 inch strip of fiber glass material attached to the bottom of the owl with two screws and attached to the roof with same. The material seems to be strong, spring loaded head is novel, and thus far, birds have avoided confrontations that previously were almost daily encounters. Seem to be of sufficient size and realistic nature to scare away most birds. Will be interested in seeing how long it can withstand 50 mph winds.

Just like picture head moves great purchase help get rid of lots of birds and they cut down my problem with the bird poop about 90%.Overall great purchase can use in rain to.

These owls are cute, but we bought them because they moved in the wind , so that they would scare the mocking birds away from fruit trees. Well, cute as they were, they had no effect on the mocking birds. Nice try though.If you want these as a cute ornament great, but they aren't practical for the mocking bird problem. I don't recommend this for garden use.
