Great purchase
I got that one because of it's specs and esthetic. After almost a year I'm still happy with my purchase

Don't go with Asus.
Okay, I waited for 4 months to write this review to see if my issues went away. They haven't so here goes.First of all, I was recommended this laptop by a friend who said his was awesome.I have had a different experience with this one.The numpad on the right side works fine, but there's no indication for when the Num Lock is on or off, and it seems like it just shuts off whenever it feels like it.2). The screen randomly flickers on and off, so be careful if you have epilepsy.3). There are only 2 USB ports. I'm new to gaming laptops, but once you have a hard drive and a wireless mouse plugged in, you have no more USB ports for anything else. I got an adapter to add 3 ports which was only $6 on here and works fine, it still just seems like an odd choice for any computer to only have 2 USB ports.4). The power supply is chonky, which I assume is necessary and common in gaming laptops, but it seems to fall out a lot. That one may just be on me.5). This one may also be on my end, but I've had this computer since October of last year, so about 5 months and it already seems to be slowing down performance-wise, and altogether I'm using 258GB out of 926GB. I primarily use it to write, and most of the stuff I have that takes up memory is on an external hard drive. Maybe I'm dumb?I honestly put this review off giving it the benefit of the doubt that it was me doing something wrong and not the computer, but at this point that's hard to believe. The keyboard especially, considering I've been typing for about 30 years now and have never had this experience with any other keyboard (and I used to use those 1980's MacIntosh computers and their keyboards). Since I primarily use this to write, that's a pretty big issue, hence the -3 stars. The other star was taken away to accommodate my other 4 issues. All in all, I personally don't think this thing is worth the money I paid for it. Especially considering I can't use it for the purpose I bought it for.
