The best outdoor padlock I've tried
One of the first outdoor padlocks that hasn't rapidly deteriorated for me.One quirk you should be aware of is that they key needs to be in the padlock while it's unlocked (you can't remove the key when it's open). It's a very sturdy, weighty padlock that seems to be built well. It's a good size too and fits easily on locks that similar padlocks have struggled with.It looks fine and does what you'd expect.

Super sturdy little locks
Absolutely perfect for what I needed. Super sturdy, Large enough to be secure but not too bulky. retained key locks. Not sprung and the fact that you actively have to lock the lock rather than just snapping it shut mean you can never lock yourself out. Also really well priced. Can be a bit fiddly to get the key in the correct orientation as the key hole is round and the key is vaguely rectangular.

Key needed to open AND Close. Lock can't be left in open position.
These padlocks, x2, have just arrived to replace two 15 year old Yale padlocks which had just started to be 'sticky' to open, despite attempting to clean them with WD-40 etc. However, there is something annoying (for me) about their operation, but which might not bother others. While the two older Yale locks had to be opened with their keys, once open the keys could be removed and the open padlocks left hanging on the bolt, shackle part open, ready to be snapped closed later, without the need to use the key again, when the door needed locking. This is not possible with the new padlocks. The key cannot be withdrawn from the padlock while the shackle is in the open position. Rather, once the shackle is opened, it needs to be removed from the bolt, the bolt slid open and the padlock replaced, the shackle closed, locked, and the key can then be removed. When the time comes to lock the door again, the key must be used to open the padlock, the bolt slid across, and the padlock put in place and locked again using the key. I suppose this might prevent the key being locked inside the building, and the key is definitely much more sturdy than the old keys, so probably an extra security feature, but still a little annoying as extra time needed to open and close the doors.More generally, the padlocks appear sturdy and if they last as long as the previous padlocks I'll be pleased.

Great value padlock.
Good sized, strong padlock. Unlike more common padlocks this padlock is not spring loaded so don't think it's defective, it's the barrel design. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Rusting after only 2 days 😠
Only on shed for 2 days and it’s started to rust around the lock underneath where you insert the key

Not rust-proof
Started looking rusty within two weeks so I’m not sure how long this lock will last unfortunately. Seems pretty sturdy otherwise.

Strong padlock
A good, strong padlock. Easy to use, though does not lock shut without using the key. Supplier was very expeditious and efficient in fulfilling my order.
