LEGO 42145 Technic Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter, Educational Model Building Set for Kids, with Spinning Rotors and Motorised Features, Construction Toy

I have built a number of Lego Technic large models and this was as complex as any. All the driving gear and gearboxes had to be just right. The were 2 small parts missing, well there were parts there that looked similar, but were incorrect. However, Lego corrected this rapidly and for free, so not an issue.The completed Helicopter seems a little fragile, but it seems to hold together well and all the driven parts work well. A great Leko Model

Bought for Xmas for son, built in two to three days. Now proudly displayed!

So this model is pretty complex to construct. For now it's unfinished because the motor isn't able to turn the rear rotor blades, it's jamming. I'm guessing I've done something wrong so I'm going to have to undo it all to find out what the issue is. Also the "screw" that raises and lows the wheels slips under the weight of the helicopter and only works if the copter is raised off the floor. I still gave it a five tho because part of the fun of these types of sets is the complexity of the build. My impatient 3yr old grand daughter keeps asking me when it's ready because she wants to play with it. She loves playing with the space shuttle so I'm sure she'll love the copter too when I've finally finished it!Quick update, turns out the rotators had jammed because the power cable got caught in the gearbox. It needs to be clipped but I missed that bit. So all good. Peppa Pig was the first to try the helicopter when my grand daughter got hold of it.

Once assembled it is excellent but.... assembly was a pain in the butt especially getting to cogs in the right place as they are not very clearly defined. I had to take it apart three times before I got it right. Nice item though.

It was def worth buying. Lots of moving parts and my grandson loves it. That’s all I wanted from this gift

Not the easiest thing to put together but well worth the time and effort looks really good once built
