I am so tired of influencers. They are selling products whether or not they like it. This product does NOT work. I have followed the instructions, I have watched many videos on tips and tricks.. This stuff is an absolute waste of money.. I’m giving it five stars so that Amazon doesn’t bury my honest review. I think we have the right to know whether or not something actually works.. and this, my friends, does not!! It’s merely Christmas time and influencers are out in full force hustling for that money.

I don’t think this works anything close to what the advertisements show. First, no where did I see in the description that this was a “matte” finish product. (See the box I received.) So I ordered some from another source and it was matte as well. I would never knowingly purchase a matte primer for my 57 year old skin as it makes your wrinkles more defined! And second, there was no protective seal on the bottle opening so I have no idea if this was a previous return or what as the other bottle I purchased from the other source did have a seal. The bottle seemed full but there was NO seal on it. As far as helping with wrinkles, I didn’t notice ANYTHING. The videos show major changes and lasting for hours. My wrinkles aren’t that bad, but I expected to notice something. But nope. NOTHING. I tried it a couple of times. Even put on one side of my face but not the other and just let it dry all evening to make sure I was allowing it to dry properly and I did not feel hardly any tightening and could not see any difference. I also feel like bc of the matte finish it just made my wrinkles stand out more! My photos show what I received. However the last picture is what the description shows “now”. That was not there when I bought it. I went back and checked as soon as I received it to see if I missed something and nope. It did NOT say matte finish anywhere in any photos or description at that time (that I could see anyway) like the box I received that clearly states matte finish. This has since been updated here. So I’m guessing that this has been a complaint from others and/or they now have this new option (Hydrated Glowing Finish). Just out of curiosity I also got the one in the black tube and same thing. No noticeable difference between before and after. For me, neither were worth the price and I personally do not recommend either PTR face tightening product.

I had the Peter Thomas Roth in the black tube for firming under eyes. It leaves a white film if you use too much. And you can’t use it on top of your make up. It doesn’t work. But this does!! I use a silicon based make up and this works perfectly under my eyes. I would highly recommend it.

I had to give it a 3 star only because I live in a very dry climate and not sure if that affects it. Tightened up skin really well but I could use any moisturizer or it just loosens back up. I watched a lot of videos and it seems people have to play around a bit too much to get it to work.

A lot of people don’t rate this well; but I don’t think they are being fair.What this is, is a topical temporary tightening cream.What this is not, is a miracle.So I don’t know what yall expect here. I am 57 and do not use any other cosmetics so I can’t speak to that. But if you can dab a little bit of the same brand tightener into this product you will have a nice tight face and neck. It wears well most of the day for me at work.I quick set it with my blow dryer on cool and if I get my mixture right I am tight through lunch. Your facial movement and humidity outside will play a role in the length of time until you start to loosen up. But I love it. I am a user of wrinkle relaxer injections and I do that far less because this product makes up the difference.

I'm 41 and have wrinkles, giant pores and random things that I like to hide occasionally. I'm darker complected and yes if you use too much you will get a slight white residue. It's ok, it comes off! I don't have to use much, if any foundation with this. Doesn't work great with powder foundation either. Still obsessed and would prefer having a good skin care routine than dealing with foundation. Hides all my little flaws, including a huge scar

This product is not as described. It seems to be designed more for visual appeal than practical use on the face. While it does create a temporary tightening effect, it does so by leaving a white, chalky film on the surface of your skin that’s meant to blur imperfections—but that’s where the benefits end. You can't apply anything on top of it—no makeup, moisturizer, or serums—because they disrupt the film and cause it to wipe off completely. Facial expressions? Forget it. The product cracks or loses effectiveness the moment you move your face.I've experimented with it in countless ways: applying it before and after serums, mixing it with moisturizers or makeup, and nothing works. In fact, combining it with other products releases a strong, ammonia-like smell that’s irritating and burns the nostrils.Unless you're okay with walking around with a stiff, expressionless face covered in a white film, I do not recommend this product.

I like but I noticed you can’t put makeup on after you put it on your areas you want your wrinkles to go away.
