Pretty solid. I used different hardware and put the shelf on the bottom instead of inside so it works better.

Good thick metal forms the box with a slip in and out bottom wooden shelf.Just keep in mind not all bicycles have a straight across the top bar. In other words, ladies, your bike is not going to sit level as shown in most of the photos. They did slip in one with a slight angle at the end of the photo strip.If you haven't lifted your bicycle off the ground, do so before ordering. Imagine how high you want the shelf and just be sure you can safely lift it to mount before purchasing. Wouldn't be fun to break half the stuff in the house trying to lift it or take it down.

Very poor quality

I got another bicycle holder prior to this and it was great. Only problem is, I am still left with floor space issues though. I ordered this unit and have rexeived it.If I could rate 1/2 stars I would rate this a 4.5 due to No instructions inside and a very loose shelf unit and no way to secure it.It looks a bit difficult to mount on the wall due to mounting holes being under the top metal piece and the sides are 1 piece (see images). It does include all mounting screws and anchors which also look big enough. The unit came with 2 straps but have no idea where they are to go or anything. Perhaps the online description has all the instructions which should not be the only ones available.I have not mounted this holder up yet due to medical reasons but will update in the near future when I do get it up.Uodate: i dropped to 3 stars because the description says this holder will work on hybrid touring bicycles and commuter bicycles. This is ONLY true if the handlebar is shaped as pictured. They do not make this clear in the description. Also, the frame needs to be more like a street bicycle or racing bicycle because if you have a hybrid or slighly larger frame or larger pedals for those that need this type, this frame will not come out far enough. I will have to modify the wall to come out about 4-6 inches. I may also need to get different screws to mount this securely to the modified wall section just to use it. This hurt my back just trying to find the correct spot to out it up at. I was planning on an area of the garage after moving a lot of things for the room.

really liked this but bike didn't really fit where I needed it to.

I had a pully system in my garage before and that was a bit cumbersome. This is such a better idea. Easy to install and easy to just put the bike up on. It has a pad to prevent it from getting scratched. Its pretty durable and I am very happy with it.

I ordered this item (and another one) to store our bikes that we will own soon. I needed a solution for my small place to keep the ground empty for our furnitures and keep the space organized at the same time. This hanger functions as a floating shelf which fits my book lover decoration very well.
