"salt of the earth....light of the world."
OK.So the first time I received this order, neither lamp had the correct cord (they were USB cords--not sure what that's for), the wood bases looked rough (or covered in glue?), one of the lamps had a base that wasn't firmly in place, and one of them had a scorch mark from the drill they use that showed all the way through to the outside of the lamp. So yeah---less than thrilled.I returned those and ordered replacements, and the replacements are both lovely! Proper cords, bases look fine, attached correctly, not drill burn marks, etc.Bottom line: I don't recommend buying any used (unless you get a GREAT deal on them, that is), since you'll probably get ones like I got that had problems and were returned. Also, be aware that size variations are a thing. They are ROUGHLY the same size, but if you are looking for two lamps with great symmetry, it's no guarantee. Mine are not the same height.But I'm totally satisfied with my replacements. I've wanted salt lamps for a while, and this was a good deal! They provide very nice soft lighting.Salt lamps make me think of this verse from Scripture: "You are the salt of the earth....You are the light of the world." --Matthew 5:13-14 A good reminder of what Christians are called to be!

A great LED night lights alternative
I was so glad to find these! They have regular bulbs instead of led which is preferable as my family and I are trying to reduce led exposure. Perfect alternative for night lights, and it’s aesthetically pleasing.

Nice Glow, knobs not very good
The lamps themselves are nice, i light the glow and adjustable lighting feature. However, i am dropping a star because the turning knob for light dimmable keeps falling off so that is disappointing.

One lamp out of two broken in less than one month
So, I wish I would have returned this item when I had the chance. One of the lamps (I ordered a two pack) works fine and looks nice but the other only worked for about a week or two before it didn’t. The broken salt lamp (bulb won’t turn on and yes I tried replacing the bulb) is ugly with two straight cuts on two of the sides. I messaged the company through the Amazon link to ask if I could just return the one broken base and get it replaced with a base that worked but they never responded.

Does not come with an electric cord plug ; to plug into a wall outlet
The lamps are beautiful. But it comes with a cell phone type cord ! I cannot plug this in into a wall outlet ! I’m angry that nothing warned me of this .
