I'm buying a second one of these today for use in another part of the garden. I've been burned so many times trying to find a decent hose nozzle that I put up with an old bad one one rather than buy a second of these until I put it to the test. I really love the new on/off design feature of the thumb lever, which a lot of products have now. It's SO MUCH easier to use than that little dinky triangle of metal that other ones have, so much easier on my hands, and has totally held up, unlike some other types of flow-controllers on other nozzles. The shower function, which is the one I use 95% of the time, has stayed completely reliable. Now, let me say that we have naturally soft water here, which will make a difference in how long anything like this will last, but I've bought nozzles that were only used in this soft water where the nozzles partly clogged and there was no way to ever truly clean them up. Just having the shower function be the same after a year of use is a huge value.I do need to say that the ring on the front of it, a rubber ring, did come off. But that ring doesn't affect function, just made it a little more cushioned. It may be my own fault it came off because I can be hard on things and dropped the nozzle onto concrete a few times before realizing that any hose nozzle would be unhappy with that treatment (we moved to a new house and have a container garden on a cement patio).This nozzle is relatively heavy, it really is made of solid, thick metal. I see that some reviewers have said they had trouble on day 1 of receiving it. What I don't understand is why people don't simply return/exchange things that don't work out of the box. There are going to be bad items in any manufacturing plant, that's just reality. I think this nozzle lives up to its hype and its price. I've spent even more than this on nozzles that did not hold up. Yeah, this is a little pricey, but it appears I'll get at least 2 years of constant use out of it instead of 1 year or less.

I bought it because it claimed to be all metal. but as it turns out it has a plastic thumb control, which is the very thing that breaks on all of my previous nozzles. I bought it in June of this year and the thumb control broke in August. It lasted 2 months. i would get at least 3 years out of the previous nozzles.Update: I contacted the manufacturer about this problem. They were were willing to send me a new one immediately. I mentioned to them how hard i used these nozzles and they recommended that i get the same model only with the metal squeeze handle. I like the thumb control but the the unit with the squeeze handle is mighty fine. I am sure that this will last a very long time. The support from this company was excellant.

This has worked great, no leaks or issues

This particular nozzle control mechanism works best in my experience. I've tried numerous designs, many of which break or fail to provide adequate spray control after a few weeks or months of use. I've only had this one for a few days, but can attest to its sturdiness and easy handling. Plus lots of spray control on all of its various settings.

Really like that its metal and not the cheap plastic. The trigger is fantastic and only requires a slight push with my finger and it locks in place thereby freeing up my index finger which tends to cramp. Excellent product.

The device performs very well. Although mine started leaking from a fixed joint about 4 months after it arrived, the customer service was very responsive and promptly (upon gathering the details about the problem) agreed to replace the hose sprayer. As no manufacturer can avoid having some defects, i gave them a 5 stars for standing behind their product.Hopefully the replacement will not have any issues.

This is easy to control, moves smoothly. Sturdier than other brands that I ‘ve used in the past. I like it so much I ordered a second one

Pros : the sliding control is much better than the usual trigger style. The quality seems overall pretty good.Cons : exterior the plastic ring that you turn to select the type of spray came loose and fell off within not even a day of use. I popped it back on but it doesn’t stay in anymore. It doesn’t really affect usage as I can still turn and select the type of spray I want. We will see how it holds up over time.

I’m replacing all my hose nozzles with 2 of these. I received one, loved it and ordered another one. I am a senior and I love that it has an on and off component that can be turned on and off very effortlessly with with your thumb!! It has lots of settings from a light setting for watering delicate plants to a very powerful setting for cleaning concrete, siding and washing your car !! Order one!! You’ll love it!!

Pistolet très pratique et robuste. Il faut prendre l'habitude de la position d'ouverture qui se fait avec le pouce mais l'utilisation s'avère alors très pratique et confortable (bien plus qu'avec une gâchette). On peut facilement régler le débit en ouvrant plus ou moins le robinet sur le pistolet. De plus il a 8 positions différentes d'arrosage facilement réglable. Après une saison d'utilisation, le pistolet n'a pas bougé, la tenue en main procure une sensation de robustesse et s'avère très agréable.

By far, this nozzle is the heaviest that I've used and that includes some pretty sturdy ones purchased at Costco in the past. This unit comes with two replacement hose washers and features a built-in screen on the inlet to keep grit from the hose from clogging the nozzle, a pretty helpful feature.As shown in the photos, the centre of the adjusting nozzle has a screw that can be tightened as these tend to loosen over time on any nozzle of this style. Having the screw accessible will help to tighten it up should it ever loosen and leak. The thumb trigger has a rubber grip which is helpful as this style of trigger can get slippery when wet. A bonus feature of the heavier weight over my old plastic sprayer is that it's less likely to whip around at the end of the hose if the water is turned on while no one is holding the nozzle.I expect to get many years of service from this unit and am assured that it's worth the cost if you're used to buying the $10-15 plastic jobs that crack and leak after a season or two. As mentioned in the included booklet, it's important to drain and dry these each fall if they'll be outdoors for the winter. Freezing wile wet will almost certainly doom any nozzle/sprinkler to leaks/cracks.
