I had this installed within a few minutes after receiving. The only improvement I could suggest is including the proper size tool to tighten the nuts. I had one, so it wasn't an issue, but just be aware the tool is not included. Also, measure your gate posts, and be aware of what size lock you plan to use, if that is your plan.

This is just what I expected it to be and is equal to the quality of those I buy locally. Since my 9/16" socket did not fit on the nuts or bolts, I believe it came with metric hardware. I substituted my own SAE hardware and it worked out just the way I wanted it to.

It doesn’t fit around a normal round chain link fence post and the bolts aren’t long enough to even get close to fitting. The lock hole is also so large you can open it even with a lock attached.

It's a practical choice for everyday security. However, for those in need of a more robust defense against intrusion, this latch might fall short, suggesting a potential need for additional security enhancements.

The media could not be loaded.

I bought a couple of these, and on each of them, a bolt or nut was stripped. Luckily I had some extra hardware and made them work. Took a lot longer than it should have to install these just because of that.

Dog cannot figure out how to escape now. Have two on fence and he can open one but the second one he tries and he is stamped.
