I was having difficulty giving my Yorkie some codeine for pain management as she wouldn't take them even in food but using these although they are slightly fiddly they have been great & she is taking the meds with no problems.

I’ve gotten a lot of big capsules before finding this size! Perfect for my own supplements and small enough to be easy to swallow. I need them for an oily substance that keeps very well packed in glass jars.

So I use essential oils and I use these to put my oils and make my own vitamins and it holds the perfect amount and they’re not big

I recently had to start giving my cat 2 pills daily. One of them was a larger pill cut into quarters (which basically became fragments). My cat ate the pills in pill pockets for a few weeks, then decided she didn't like thos anymore and wouldn't touch them. As she also wouldn't eat the pills hidden in food or treats, I had to start giving her the pills manually. Which was an absolute nightmare, until after hours of scouring various forums on how best to pill a cat, someone recommended these empty gel caps. I immediately ordered a thousand of them (size 4), and am delighted to report that they are an absolute game changer! Each capsule is big enough to hold the 2 small pills (but not the bigger B12 pill which can be ground up and added to food anyway). If my cat spits it out, the gel cap maintains it's integrity, and I just try again. I'm no longer wasting pills, and the process is going so much better for both me and the cat. Highly recommended!

I've been using these capsules for many years. I give meds to my cats and dogs using them as it makes it easier. Sometimes the cat or dog may be taking human meds that have to be cut into smaller pieces and the size of the capsule makes it easier. You can, of course, use them for your own meds.
