Years and years of utility in one simple design
This is a great tiny tool. I purchased it for opening boxes etc in my home and workplace, the main appeal was the small size and I was pleasantly surprised when I realized the whole thing is a magnet. Its capable of cutting cardboard with moderate ease with a fresh blade. My only gripe is the blade slides against a magnet to open and close, after a bit of usage that metal on metal accumulated some debris so I had to disassemble and clean it. Once I had it open I put a small amount of lubricating grease on the magnet to make the slide open smoother. Now this thing opens and closes like butter. The design is very simple. Once you open it up the whole knife comes apart, and the magnet makes it somewhat annoying to put back together, altogether a very small price to pay for the usefulness the knife offers. I was actually impressed by the simplicity of the design, theres very few parts, all seem to be good quality metal..... with replacement blades there's no reason this knife wont last you a lifetime.

Tiny, solid, cheap replaceable cheap razors, indispensable
1 month review: Used hundreds of times,Solid aluminum, tiny form factor. Perfect box opener that you can keep with your keys at all times without it being bulky in your pocket. Been looking for something like this for many years. This tiny razor was obviously meant for somebody who has to routinely open boxes letters or cut small things but not enough where they feel the need to carry a bulky pocket knife or xacto knife around with them in their pockets. With a small philips screw driver (you'll need something you might use to repair glasses with) you can replace the blade with a standard hobby blade (I believe it's the #11) which are really cheap and come in boxes of 100 for about $10. So far so good.

I wanted to like this more.
I like the idea of a utility knife that uses x-acto blades, but there are a few things about this that kept it from being that useful. First it has no way of really locking the blade. You have to hold it open by the little lever used to push the blade out. It has a magnet that is supposed to keep the blade in position but all it does is attract tons of metal filings. The aluminum body seems pretty durable and the mechanism seems ok, but the lever is so tiny it's hard to push out. If this had some kind of blade lock and no magnet it would be great. It's so tiny I think it could be a little bigger and still be just as handy but more useful.

Tiny and convenient
I've only had the tool on my key-chain for about a week, but it's already proven it's value a handful of times. Opening boxes, cutting strings, etc.The OTF function is great, as I always struggled with opening my small "swiss army knife" blade. So far I've not had the blade come out accidentally, but bumping the tool on a hard surface will allow the blade to work it's way out... careful or you may just cut your pants right off. Also the design is great, and looks more like a USB drive than any sort of cutting implement. However, I've noticed that the anodizing on the aluminum body is starting to wear off on the edges already, in a years time it may be mostly silver...So far so good though, and a good buy for someone looking for micro keychain gear.

Small and Extremely Sharg
I loved the knife but ended up giving it away to my warehouse guy. I didn't like that it wouldn't lock in the open position.I'm a two thumbs guy and just felt that it's so small and so sharp that eventually I'd cut myself.I didn't deduct a star because I knew about the non locking entering into the transaction so didn't feel that it was right to dock a star.If you're more coordinated than me, I recommend this knife highly.

NOT SAFE
I have tried to carry the pocket knife but the blade keeps coming out. I have had the blade come out when it has been in my pants , it does get your attention. The thumb slide is sloppy and dose not lock the blade open-For safety I no longer want to use it-so it is in a box. I wound not purchase this item again. I did purchase band aids.

Doesn't Lock, 0.5/5 forks
tl;dr Locking mechanism failed after a single cut, blade can't be replaced, OTF action is terrible. Returned immediately.Alright here's my play by play of the STRIX RHK OTF Pocket Knife.Amazon delivery arrives and I am excited to try this little knife out, I mean for $16 how bad could it be? I was fully ready to be impressed, and I set my expectations way, way too high. Two brown cardboard amazon packages arrive along with the white plastic envelope containing the STRIX RHK OTF Pocket Knife. I tear into the package and remove the STRIX RHK OTF Pocket Knife from its shell casing, with a pen mind you since I didn't have a knife, hence the purchase.First impressions, it's very small and somehow the plastic felt sturdy. Then I used the OTF action, and oh boy was it downhill from here. The OTF action, while technically it does come out the front, does not have any type of spring or magnetic assist. You slide your thumb, the blade slides out the front, you slide your thumb back, it goes back in, at least in theory, in practice that's another matter. The OTF action, in summary, is terrible. The blade is a sharp hobby knife style, which is generally fine, except there's a reason blades of this type are sold in packs, they dull quickly and are prone to breakage. For all intents and purposes this blade is NOT replaceable. The blade, in summary, is far below average, and will eventually be dangerously dull.STRIX RHK OTF Pocket Knife in fingers I proceeded to open standard brown cardboard Amazon package #1. I extend the knife blade and slide across the package length wise, the tape yields and I am satisfied with the cut, close the blade for knife safety and move on to package #2. I slide the blade out,go for the same cut and the knife instantly retracts. The lock has lasted one cut, and at this point is completely broken. The only way at this point the knife is usable is if I pinch the slide between by thumb and forefinger. The STRIX RHK OTF Pocket Knife last exactly one amazon package before breaking. The blade lock, in summary, is an absolute complete failure.Overall its bad, and now I feel bad because Amazon wants me to send it back, so the $16 is going to take about 30 minutes more of my day as I drop it off at a locker. It was also a day late.Bad times. 0.5/5 forks.
