I tried hooking one of these up backwards and my flow stopped. Hooking it in the correct way the water seems to flow the same as before. I call this a success. If it lasts over a year then great! If not then well that's what I get for buying cheap.I may re-review if I notice they stop working at some point.Side note:Not sure why people think they can supply enough pressure with wee little human lungs. Obviously the psi in a water hose is going to be higher than a set of lungs can push.If someone tries to say they cant blow through it and gives a bad review, ignore it and keep scrolling. If you're not supplying measurable data and saying its crap then do us all a favor and stay out of the reviews. Thanks.

Im hoping that these will allow r.o. systems to drain without allowing water to back up and out the vent hole on the r.o. faucets.

I can't figure out how this device works but it does. I installed it in reverse and sure enough no water flowed. When inserted correctly it worked fine. I use these on a reverse osmosis system. I have one on the tube that drained into the sink pipe. If ever water should back up in the drain I will not have to be concerned with any contamination issues back into the reverse osmosis filter.

bought these to have for my RODI to prevent backflow through my membrane and from my input water hammer prevention accumulator to the house but when they arrived I was confused why they stapled the baggie they came in shut, was not a dealbreaker but I have no idea why a ziplock baggie was stapled shut after being sealed, common practice is to fold over the extra plastic and tape it to the bulk of the contents, and is much easier to remove without ripping the storage baggie you likely want to keep the extra pieces inand it isn't even an office staple, it is like a thick gauge industrial staple, way overkill to prevent item loss

I was in need of a 3/8 one way valve and found these. They work exactly as you would think they would and do not seem to constrict any water flow. Would purchase again!

Poor quality, late shipping, and unresponsive customer service

Had issues with a check valve on our RO system. Got a very expensive replacement from the system provider and it lasted less than a year. They gave us a replacement and it lasted a couple weeks. I purchased these hoping for better longevity. I will update if something changes but so far this one has been working great.

Used in an RO water purification system. Would highly recommend.Just waiting to see how long they'll last.One year of service would be worth the expense.

Spring pressure too high. Pump can not overpower pressure to allow flow.
