JBLBar 1000: 7.1.4-Channel soundbar with Detachable Surround Speakers, MultiBeam™, Dolby Atmos®, and DTS:X®, Black

So I've been using a Samsung surround sound system since 2015 and my brother recommended this for me, and I have to say I am more than impressed. Not having to deal with wires is a huge Plus but the size and form factor match completely well with my LG B3 OLED. The way it synchronizes the speakers in a near flawless way to take advantage of the Dolby audio is incredibly impressive. My only gripe is that the manual isn't really that detailed so you have to look up some of the functionality issues on google, but other than that it's an incredible buy for anywhere between 800 to $1,000.

So happy we upgraded to this JBL. The superiority and difference in sound output from our previous sound bar (which we liked, but was not a high-end one) is exactly what I hoped, and expected after researching various products. I had thought of returning to a full home theater system with mountable speakers, wire, stands, etc. Upgrading the sound bar became the better option, particularly with this model having wireless rear speakers.This connects easily to our new QNED TV through the eARC and produces fantastic sound. The dialogue during shows and movies is now so much more audible. No more asking each other, "What did he say?", and rewinding and straining to hear the words.The sound bar feels solid, well made. The rear speakers detach and reconnect for charging/storage easily. I'm already a fan of magnets, so this feature is a fun bonus. Subwoofer powers out the bass. As a trial, I increased volume to 22, walked to various points outside, with the doors closed. Wow! Heard it loud and clear from as far as 40 feet. We'll need to be cognizent of this so as not to disturb the neighbors.Using the JBL One app is easy and important to calibrate the speakers and connect to the house's wifi. Our listening position is directly in fromnt of TV/Sound Bar in comfy recliners. We don't have a table behind the recliners, and our walls are too far from the chairs to mount the rear speakers. So I'll be purchasing speaker stands afterall. Oh well. Get something tasteful and functional. Or maybe have one of my woodworking friends make something. For now, having them resting on a bar stool is a functioning (though low-brow) workaround. The rear speakers deliver the ambient sound as promised.

My fiancé and I bought a 75" Fire TV last year for Christmas for ourselves, this year we wanted to upgrade our living room sound as our Christmas present! We have experienced JBL pill speakers and have heard friends' JBL party box- it's always impressive, and we really didn't want to start looking into systems above $1k. We got this for $800 on sale and it definitely proves itself worth the $$$.The packaging was very nice, everything came perfectly safe. You may need 2 people to carry it to your living room, it's a bit heavy and awkward- our delivery driver set it inside our house for us and I scooted it across the floor into the living room. You'll definitely want a helper for navigating stairs.My fiancé unboxed everything and set this entire thing up in like 5 minutes, seriously. We had no trouble connecting to the TV, it barely fits in between the legs underneath so anyone with less than 75" will need to put this soundbar on the wall (or put their TV on the wall), it is quite long with the detachable speakers on the main soundbar. The subwoofer legit just plugs into the electrical outlet and INSTANTLY was connected/in sync with the bar - we put ours behind our sofa.We downloaded the JBL One app (android version) and it took me another 5 minutes to calibrate the system, you just have to move the detachable speakers around your room a couple times and it goes through a sound test process. 10 minute total set up time and it sounds amazing!!! The app has controls to adjust the equalizer if you're into that. The remote has easy buttons for detachable speaker volume control, subwoofer volume control, and Dolby atmos intensity control. The remote also paired well with our Fire TV, and the JBL remote seamlessly controls both the sound system volume and the TV volume simultaneously.The sound put out by the speakers, bar, and subwoofer is truly incredible. We knew anything would be an improvement from our TV sound, but we are SO happy we went with this JBL system.Merry Christmas from an ultra happy JBL customer couple!!! <3

Got this on sale $799, and it’s far better sound that I expect it to… I compared to the Bose surround system and JBL bar not sounded better it’s just what surround system should sound when you buy it for your home . It adds more presence and more fuller sound compared to Bose more natural , for surround music it’s just a heaven , very important how you connect source and wich source do you use , in the beginning I connect direct from my projector to sound bar the sound was thin and wasn’t realistic at all all speakers was sounded the same even surround back but when I connect Amazon fire stick 4K max directly to pass through of the soundbar it’s change the sound big time , voices were more controlled n the center of the sound bar and surround back add a real realism that you are there I don’t know how they did that but sound quality and surround effects changed big time … overall I’m very happy with my purchase and will recommend it to anyone looking for a good home surround system without a spending a huge amount of money
